Hey, if you want a deep and rocking sound who really kicks ass for the solo, whithout being over powerfull and whithout charisma, the dimarzio paf pro is PERFECT.

It's the perfect combinaison for me with texas specials. Don't forget to get the F-SPACED version of this pickup for the strat. Cheers

sounds great! the only 2 very minor things i'd like to nit pick at are tone is a bit bassy :s but it sounds amazing on the solo and timing on some parts are a little off. over all that was great you must have spent a long time on that, i would be proud to even pull the solo off

Your style, is very similar to mine and trust me man, people really appreciate groups that play this type of music even though it isn't 'mainstream' anymore. no it's a normal stratocaster american deluxe, i just take off the SCN singles coils and the DH1 humbucker cause i don't like their sound.
