Seafood watch lists are great but the unfortunate reality is that it would be a miracle if even 1% of the population actually carried and used these things. Hopefully the iPhone app will help that to some extent. The role of government is to regulate what we should and should consume, the same way that we no longer have CFC in aerosol cans. As the video says, we love seafood and the only way we can support our demand is with sustainable farming!
