  • Great video, always nice to see older kit serviced up and earning its keep

  • awesome video

  • I love the sound of this engine!

  • it's a terex aka lizard

  • Espetacular este video, trabalhei na Terex entre 1973 a 1982 aqui em Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brasil e gostaria muito saber quando foi(ano) criado este video e que tnho muitas saudades!

  • This is one of the best videos of Terex scrapers in a full cycle. Sure brings back a lot of memories! In the 70’s/early 80’s was a Terex dealer mechanic / service sales manager – worked on the smaller TS-14’s, 82-30 & 40 dozers used by our road building customers, along with the TS-24’s, 72-71 & 81 loaders, 33-07 & 09 haulers and 82-80 dozers of our steel mill & mining customers. I sure miss those days! Selling Terex goes down as one of the biggest mistakes General Motors has ever made!

  • In the states we call them "Double barrels".

  • @DammitDrag In Illinois we call them green weanies.

  • @jpmiller79 I guess they are called many different names huh ?, we used them at Disney World to move most of the dirt and they proved extremely reliable.

We had 38 of them hooked together at one time with the hook and bail system.

  • What sort of a goose tries to load up hill?, Now I have seen it all!

  • @ianfraser It looked like he had the ejector forward, like he was dragging, not loading.

  • @ianfraser

he's grading there haul road ya nub :)

  • be nice if my models would sound like they do

  • Brought back great memories of running TS-24s out on west coast. Great mountain moving machine.

  • Thank you. Did a run many moons ago, here in Australia, on a Brazilian built TS-14B. It ran two 6V53N's. I distinctly remember the notice in the cab for the horn stating, "buzzina'!

  • good vid of the ts14 a and b working side by side drove these myself from mid 70s to late 80s when they went into decline in the uk

  • Wooow lots of horse power in that one =)

  • thanks i really injoyed watching your video, those guys really pick up a lot of ground comming down that hill 5/5

  • nice vid, my dads been running an older ts-24 for years. he let me drive it around once and it was the funnest thing i've ever done.

  • awesome video 5/5

  • I ran a 14 for a few hundred hours in '06. They were affectionately called 'Green weanies'. Running one of these things will take years off your life. We would wear foam ear plugs and ear muffs and your ears would still ring that night. They rode so rough and jerky it was like riding a bull for 10-12 hrs a day. All that said I love to run one again someday.

  • I once ran 14's and believe me your ears will be ringing after a days work!!

  • you are right but thats the good thing about a well tuned 471

  • Your welcome

  • MIss hearing those Detroit Diesels. There is a Terex TS14 and quite possibly a TS-18/TS-24

  • They pretty good alright. They are all TS-14s (1x b14uot, 17uot, 7uot) Thanks for your comments.

  • @terex1424 Nice vid, spent many hrs on the old round nose 14's...long time ago now. Those machines look in really good nick.

  • @Catyella Thanks for cmments. I run afleet of 4 , 2x B14 uot english made, 1x 7uot euclid , 1x 14B all work ready still working 6 to 7 days a week when the works there.Have posted some more vids noy.

  • Fatántisco, the sequence of loads was beautiful, and its position to see these machines allowed filming in a great performance, grew up seeing these TS-14B in service, parabens, continue sending updates of this work.

  • Thanks for the comments .Hopefully post some more soon wih our 82-30FA dozer pushing them.
