Great film foxxvixx. I went to El Chorro a couple of times back in 1998/2000 and as well as doing a bit of rock climbing we walked along the Camino del Rey a few times. It really looks as if it has gone from bad to worse since then.

@andyd01 Thanks, it is deteriorating, but not for much longer, there are plans to turn it into a tourist attraction, so this would inevitably mean substantially reinforcing and changing the appearance of the walkway. but at least you wont be in danger of being arrested as you walk through the railway tunnel to or from it, (I imagine )

@graciegardener thanks! you'd never guess that I am a climber! It was just sooooo exposed that it was still pretty awesome if if you are used to it

@foxxvixx i'm waiting for when it is restored!i am not a climber, but a hiker- have been on mildly exposed places, but not like that-bit i am still entranced by el camino. check out angels landing in zion natl' park in utah, usa. let me know what you think. thanks for the reply
