  • Hey this video is pretty awesome by the way! Great choice of clips and superb pacing. Too bad you weren't around back in 84 to help out promoting the movie itself lol Knew you would use that shot of the shattered mirror at the very end. It is still a pretty cool moment! Even Christopher Reeve never got a "heroic pose" like that lol

  • @SHhol123 -thank you for the very nice comments.:-)

  • So did Howard Jones actually write these 2 songs for "Supergirl", or were they both merely used as source music? I think "What is Love" was actually recorded in 1983. "Superman III" also had specially written theme songs but they sounded (apart from some computerised vocal effects) very out of touch with the feel of that film.

  • yeah your correct the ' what is love' track is in the spook house and the other song by howard jones 'New Song' is played in the background at the diner before the tractor attacks the town.

  • I have this movie on DVD since Christmas 2002... SUPERGIRL became my heroine since I grew up... I didn't care for USA Home Video or Avid Home Video just Anchor Bay Entertainment. The song "What is Love" started the scene at the Spook House where Selena was hiding out ? and then the Director's Cut footage "Linda Lee stepping in the dorm room to visit Lucy and her friends and then she got bullied"
