1. The poster screwed up any legitamacy the song could have had by saying its a cut from Abbey Road when any Beatles fan knows that a song like this would have never been on Abbey Road.
2. The Beatles (not even Paul) would have never wrote a song like this, its not their style.
3. Everything about it from crummy instrumentation to lack of lyrics screams amateur band, even Beatles demos sound more professional.
4. The song sounds very 70's with someone attempting to immitate Paul's voice.
This is the Beatles? It kinda sounds like their voices but not really like what they would write... whatever. The Beatles were weird, but awesome! This could so be them!!
In the 1970's there weren't that much unreleased studio outtakes floating around, so the bootleggers made up new songs and released them as the Beatles.
Some of them (Peace of Mind)convinced people, while other (this one) were just plain fake.
Man, not even close! In the 70's a lot of limp wristed pretty boys attempted the Beatles 'Paul' sound cause nobody could do Lennon. Now with the passage of time these people who painstakenly produced this recording attempted to take advantage of that and try 'er again! With the Rock Band game a younger set of fakes have surfaced. Anyone familiar with Beatles works know that this song isn't Beatles. Almost a nice shot but not melodic enough. Actually it's very funny!
Folks, this is not The Beatles, but someone's weak attempt at sounding like them. Listen to the vibrato; the beatles never used vibrato in their singing. SHAM!!
The poster is just promoting his own music by intentionally creating a 'Beatles outfake'. There's no reason why HE would even believe that this is The Beatles. And after all these comments, he'd have surely taken it down if he wasn't up to something.
Bull shit! Get a life, this is not the sound of the 60's or 70's. I am a recording engineer, worked at EMI (abbey road), Olympic and even sat in on an Apple session. Not only is this not any of the Beatles, it is not even in their type of writing style, even the throw away stuff they did has some merit! I really hate when people try their 15 minutes of fame deceiving the public. Oh and it's not Badfinger, as-well!
Incidentally, if in fact this song is not an authentic Beatles song, the true author ought to take the credit for penning it; it is quite good and Beatles-passable in my opinion.
Commentators, if you look closely you will see there is no mention of this recording being a Beatles outtake; instead, it says it is an unreleased Beatles song (apparently recorded by someone else). My question to the poster is where and how he/she got hold of the song so that someone could record it.

If this is a real Beatles outtake (I'm not going to debate it), wouldn't it have been from earlier?
It just doesn't sound like something that would have been on Abbey Road. It sounds more like the earlier work. It is a very nice song, though. Where did you find it?
@joethulhuz my uncles owned a record/cd store since 1965 and unfortunately it closed down a couple years ago. he said it was in a pile of just crap that he found, it was a limited edition promotional vinyl distributed by the record company but it was immediately ripped off store shelves and sent back to company
@chilipeps2 Nice try. If it was a real Beatles promo, they would have sent it out to more than just one store. A new release from the worlds biggest band at the time wouldn't have just slipped under the radar like that. DJ's and bootlegers would have been all over it like a rash (a la the 'Get Back' LP) and it would have been a canonized rarity decades ago.
@chilipeps2 Quote:" it was a limited edition promotional vinyl distributed by the record company but it was immediately ripped off store shelves and sent back to company"
You must think that we are all as stupid as you are! LOL!
Didn't convince me. The title doesn't strike me as typical of the Beatles and the song is weak for their caliber, as was playing & singing. Although, I thought I heard Paul a few times.
Hmm..it's hard to find out if this IS The Beatles..The Beatles were the one who were the famous "Oooh" and the instruments are different then there usall..That's not Ringo on Drums, because we all know that his beat is waaaay different but he could have open up a new drum beat..so I guess no one will know the real answer, Thumbs up if you agree!
@chilipeps2 Dude, every comment here is about how this is not the Beatles! The only bullshit here is you representing this as a Beatles song when you clearly know that it is not! The Beatles deserve better from you.
@Flasoo8 for every unreleased beatles song they say its not real, peoples first responses are always to doubt. why do i give a crap whether you all think its fake? believe what you want
not sure who ever told you this was a Beatles track.. this song never came from the Lennon/McCartney catalogue at all. Sounds like a poor studio session by badfinger before they became popular or one of the many beatles wannabe's in the late 60s/early 70s.. who never made it.
is this the beatles,or a bootleg? because i'm making a cd compilation of unreleased beatles songs, and i'd like to include this one,but i want to know that is defo a beatles song.

@chilipeps2 um people can tell if its fake or not.
for example:
"whats the new mary jane"
with it on bootlegs in like the 70s
they asked john lennon about it in 1980,
he said that he wanted it on the white album and they left it unrleased because paul didnt like it.
none of the beatles ever recorded a song called heartache.
i have a book at home that has every recording session o0f the beatles.
if it was an outtake, it would be on anthology ( just like "whats the new mary jane)
