ESPN: Curlin vs. Big Brown - Aug. 9, 2008

When Dutrow commented on how Curlin lost to a filly, it made me think that Big Brown hasn't beat anything half as good as Rags To Riches, and I'm pretty hard pressed to know who would win. Dream race between Big Brown, Curlin, Rags To Riches, and throw Rachel Alexandra into the mix, who would win?

Rick Dutrow is so cocky. Curlin would roll over Big Brown. Nothing against BB though.

two years later ther is no doubt in my mind that curlin was 10000000000000 times better than big brown... dutrow was and still is way toooo arrogant about his horse ( big brown) who wouldnt have a chance at curlin, rachel, or zenyatta

What everyone fails to acknowledge is that as good as Big Brown is, he was in a real weak crop of 3 year olds.  If he had to face Curlin, Hard Spun, Any Given Saturday, and Street Sense he would have been severly challenged in the first two legs of the Triple Crown.

Curlin won the Dubi World cup AND The Jocky Club Cup, Big brown DIDNT. Curlin is the worlds RICHEST race horse pretty much, I love both horses, but I say hands down ALL THE WAY to Curlin, there is NO way in hell Big Brown would have been able to beat Curlin. Curlin won the DWC by about 5+ lengths, Big brown wouldnt be close to catch Curlin.

Curlin would eat Big Brown alive... Curlin has yet to be tested in his racing career. If Jackson were to really train Curlin on the turf he would definitely be a contender in the Arc. As far as Dutrow goes... look at the races Curlin have won as compared to Big Brown.. the class says it all.

I love both horses, but Rick Dutrow is a such a jerk. I liked him better right after the Belmont when BB's inexplicably poor showing shut his big mouth. He should especially keep his mouth shut about how great it is to have beaten a filly, given what happened when BB beat Eight Belles.

"Dicktrow" is such an idiot. I love the part where he said Curlin lost to a Filly, his horse didn't. That is hilarious because Curlin lost by a nose against a great Filly in the Belmont and Big Browny got butt naked last in the Belmont. Amazing audacity and stupidity.
