He's right about the need to renew the Glass-Steagal Act - I wonder why no one within the political system seems to be calling for that? Ah, well . . . it's a guess of course, but I bet he's right about an ongoing stimulus, too.
We desperately need glass-stegal, but i think the lobbyists have too much influence to get something like that passed right now. Hopefully that will change. Thanks Todd!
The answer from this so called 'expert' is for MORE government jobs!? Ludicrous; asinine. Words cannot describe the monumental stupidity of such a move.
If America has converted completely to communist principles, which have never worked, except to fool slaves into a false utopia of sheer hell, then this is a reasonable approach. Otherwise, government needs to get the hell out of the way, stop stimulating, and start cutting. It will hurt, but the real problem is deficit and debt.
Washington is incompetent at best, and guilty of deliberate malfeasance, at worst. We do NOT need another "stimulus." We already PAID out for one, and got a bunch of pork-barrel garbage. And Barry Zero will not countenance a tax credit for anybody, when he can just squeeze HARDER, instead. ='[.]''=
Could be too late already, watch the stock markets going down and the gold price. Gold is exploding and the USD gets stronger. Very unusual. And the best: Warren Buffet bought the largest rail operators in North America. He might know what he's doing. I guess the fan was hit but we don't know yet ...
The tax credit is a good idea, but.....as long as it doesn't play on the fact whether or not you have ins.!!!! Fuck the insurance companies, they aren't doing anything in the favor of the people they are supposed to protect in the first place!!!
More government jobs? The government doesn't produce or manufacture anything of value does it? Does this mean taxpayers paying for the unemployed to work for the government? Where does the money come from to pay for these so called jobs? Sorry for all the questions, this is really confusing. It just seems to me that common sense would be to reduce the size of government, not expand it. The larger govt gets, the more it costs to run it.

I like what he said about jobs, but he thinks we need to keep spending, and that's what got us into this mess. We need to start saving.

right; i don't agree with additional stimulus... unless they'd take it from the banks and give it straight to the people.

They're all good questions... no easy answers. What's certain though is the unemployment numbers keep rising. Thanks for commenting.
