I followed all your instructions from beginning to end, with the installation/activation of graphics driver, but I can't get any of the effects to work. Something I'm doing wrong?
OMG after like a zillion replays of another video and 1 hour I finally got it to work!! If I only had know about your videos then, I would have been much more successful without feeling like a total loser for 1 hour!! =p Thanks for the video though, they are awesome!! =)
Thank you for the great job on the tutorial on how to set up the Compiz menu on Ubuntu. You are the only one that I have found on You Tube to actually show me how to install the menu.
Thanks for your comments. Yes the way you mention is another way to install the compiz settings manager. However, I strongly advize any newcomers to Ubuntu not to use the terminal if there is a GUI method available. The reason being is that if they make a mistake then there could be potential problems or at the very least confusion. As you can see from my channel description I aim these videos at newcomers to Ubuntu. The GUI method I show should be a safer and easier method for them to follow.
Thanx for the demonstration
