an easy way to duel is to press L2 or LT then aim your crosshair at his hand and press R1 or RB then when you have done that hold L2 or LT and you should shoot the gun out of his hand.

Took me a while to get it, now it's easy. First, only take the card from the deck at the beginning of the game and no one was eliminated. You usually start as dealer so AS SOON AS you start dealing press triangle (if you do it near the end of the deal you'll be caught). Then just press very calmly the L stick in the direction towards the centre very calmly. You know got your extra card which you can change at any time you need. You'll rarely get caught changing the card, hard part is the deal.

Thanks for the vid! Some things that aren't obvious... Hit (Y) as soon as you start dealing to pull a card down, otherwise the meter keeps moving and you can get caught cheating instantly. The card stays until you cheat when looking at your cards and swap it for one of them (you pick by moving the left stick left or right to pick the card before the meter comes up). You can swap it with another card from the deck on your next deal, but you don't have to.

I was playing at the $25 table in Thieve's landing and then at the $10 by MacFarlane's ranch and winning, I went from $270 to $500 quite quickly. I went to Blackwater and played against that Winlock guy (he appears at poker games all over the place) and lost $200 in a row. So I got up and shot him.

Bottom line- thank you for teaching me how to cheat, I want my fictional $200 back!

@corakanproductions You can shoot his hand which disarms him but doesn't kill. This gives you extra honour but isn't as satisfying (at least I don't think so). If you shoot the guy in the head, it fills your meter up to half and this is often enough to win the duel but sometimes not.

@xhgc wow, did you cut and paste that second try? here: press Y than click the joy stick to one side SLIGHTLY , just a smalll click, then when the arrow goes to the middle of the arch, click it the opposite way, so right, than left, or left than right, when you want to swich cards, click in the direction of the card you want to swap, when arrow hit middle, click the other way LIGHTLY
