@MorganaPirahna you can make your own pendulum: all you need is string and a weight of some sort on the end, for the weight you can have a non point but it can be better for a pointed one

I want to ask about my relationship. However, I know what I want to happen and I am scared it just reacts off of my emotions and what i want. How would I know if its Biased? Or how would I word a question regarding the faithfullness in my relationship?
@courtneyreed86 for sure you're biased - relationships are the hardest things for us to get a straight answer on, because we're so attached to them emotionally. I would have an objective outsider check in on your behalf. See my video on recognizing and eliminating bias.
@amyscottgrant I watched video part 4 and I asked if it was a bias answer it continuously said no and then had a friend try and I still feel it may have been biased because she was in the same room and my energy or thoughts on the matter were just so strong.... @MontageMonsoon11 I have not found that it matters what material the pendulum is made of. However, individuals may have a different experience. I would try it out and see what you personally get.
really great - I've been using a pendulum for years now and I can highly recommend the use - very good at finding things that got lost - I would say I get abot 95 to 98% correct responses, every time.
does it make any sense that my yes and need more info signs are completely backwards from yours? I know you said all that is important is that I know what my signs are but I just feel so weird.
My sign kept changing 4 need more information. @Marimandona53 it could be that your signs are changing frequently. Try asking the pendulum if you can have consistent signs for yes, no, and need more info. That usually does the trick.

I was also taught by Jimmy Quast who worked with Michael Newton to turn my palms up and relax and ask for a sign for yes, no, and need more by the moving of my fingers. This works as well, but I still like the pendulum and thank you for your bias tips too!!
I had watched this video and thank you for making it! It's a great video and I just got my first ever pendulum yesterday and it's working for me! My signs are odd (or at least my yes sign is) but like you said all that's important is that I know what it is. @JillianValle you can visit a gem shop or metaphysical store and see which ones you're drawn to...you can pick up a copy of "The Crystal Bible" by Judy Hall and read about the metaphysical properties of crystals...you could choose one in your favorite color, or you could ask an intuitive. When I check in for you, I get rose quartz - it's a lovely light pink color and metaphysically, is connected to unconditional love.

@betthisonesfree interesting that you see communication with your higher self as "cheating" -- most likely you have beliefs related to having to "earn your stripes" or you have a deep-seated belief that life is struggle. Look how many people know smoking is terrible for your health, yet they still do it. Why? Because they have free will of course. Just because you use a tool to find out what's most optimal, it doesn't mean you have to do it -- you choose your actions and decisions, every day.

@rainfrancesmacs great question! Yes, it can definitely sway the swing...but with practice, you can get to the point where it becomes a non-factor. For example, I can get a clear reading in a moving vehicle (where the pendulum "should" only be able to swing in 1 direction because of inertia) but I couldn't do that when I first started using a pendulum.
Hilarious. If you know anything about the neuro-skeletal-muscular system, you'll understand this: all she's proving is the phenomenon of muscle memory and the mind body connection. If you want to know if someone is lying or if you trust someone or something or not, ask your body mind directly and check in with your body, if you feel physically uncomfortable, that's what you can count on. You don't need a pendulum. Your body is already the best designed feedback mechanism in existence.
@SherrinBernstein you are correct...not sure exactly what you see as "hilarious" about that, but the problem is that many people are so disconnected from their bodies, they cannot get a clear read from body only and find a pendulum to be easier to work with. In one of my subsequent videos, I teach people how to access truth using their body, without a pendulum.

Hey Im watching your vid and I just saw how most comments here seem to be positive or ok but at other videos about pendulums most people say its just bs but I dunno I have used a pendulum before and Im pretty sure my hand was not moving but the pendulum was so I dunno I've also used it to find lost objects and it has worked perfectly I dunno what to think or make of it anymore... like people say its gravity...etc...but really how could it work for finding objects then?
@cerise333 Most people who call it bs have never actually taken the time to try it for themselves, they fear it so would rather dismiss it than test it out for themselves. You don't have to take my word or anyone else's, why not just try it for yourself and see?

@cerise333 mostly, it's related to HOW you ask the question. Or, could be a "big yes" as opposed to a "small yes" or a "small no." Think of it like this -- if someone you really like asked you out, you would give them a BIG YES (even if you played it cool, in your heart you'd feel a big yes). With someone else, it might be a small yes. Capisce? And I'm not surprised that it works better with your left hand -- you are less likely to consciously control the outcome with your non-dominant hand. :-)
@316Spooky Yes swinging front to back is generally yes (like a head nodding) but by "universal" we just mean it's the most common, some people have a different sign for yes, which is why I advise people who are just starting to use pendulum to ask what their sign is for yes and no and need more info.
@farfla1 it will move. Just relax and stay focused on your question. For some people, it just takes longer to get going. Make sure your jaw and your shoulder are relaxed. Be patient. :-)

@NotUrAvgChic hey there - I do not find it necessary to cleanse or charge my pendulum. Some people swear by cleansing, though. I would say do what feels optimal for you (or better yet, check in! All things considered, is it optimal to cleanse my pendulum?)
@dmana3172 I would say a lot of it is intention. If you are intending to use it to contact spirits, then I'm certain you could use it for that purpose. Personally, I think it's far more useful as a decision-making and/or truth testing tool.

Modern psychology has stated and shown that when you ask another person a question and they answer, that somehow the receivers mind heard the question before it was even verbally stated. In basic I can believe this pendulum is attuned to her mind and physical vibrations. I believe a pendulum in this case can tell you what you are subconsciously thinking, and they were used in hypnosis as well, now I can see why

@awatson2491 "life" questions around birth and death are tricky....mainly because as the parent, we can't help but have an inherent bias around our questions, which can definitely interfere with the answers we get (see my youtube vid on "recognizing bias")
@Abobojo the biggest difference between the two is that "best" implies an inherent judgment -- what you think is "best" is likely not the same as what I think, and from the perspective of the universe, it's all positively perfect, so there can be no "best" in terms of perfection. Optimal is just what's optimal - no judgment. If you try asking both ways (with best, and with optimal) you will often find you get more reliable/accurate answers using "optimal" That's why it's recommended.
@charkee1 yes! some people have a sign for that (more specifically "It's not optimal to know that now.") For others, their sign is the same as the sign for "need more information"
OK decent enough tutorial to say it is. My hand is too steady to get a pendulum to move. I might try holding one above my head but never got results with this divination method.
@SerenaLanaxox try something different. Could be the objects themselves. Or perhaps the ring isn't weight enough, or the chain doesn't allow it to move freely enough in any direction.

I asked a question - all be it a bad question predictive one - but enstead of getting a 'need more information' swing i got a totally different swing - not a yes or no - how do I figure out what that swing means?
@tmznoco ask if that different swing you got means "please rephrase the question" -- I once had a client who got a different, strange swing when she needed to ask the question differently.

@argent2020 of course! you can use a pendulum to choose what's optimal in any situation. For this particular query, I would ask: All things considered, is it most optimal to get a single or dual core laptop? When I check in for you, I get "single." Hope that helps!

@ilyzium yes it can definitely switch. If yours has a tendency to switch, then it's optimal to calibrate (check your signs for yes, no, need more info) before asking a question.

@beautifulworks4u for most people, it doesn't make a difference. you can try with your non-dominant hand, see how it feels and what kind of results you get. Then go with whatever works for you :-)
Well what's the point if I close my eyes? I can't see it. I don't know, when I first started testing it I was moving it where I wanted it to. Now I want a correct answer and am not sure if it's just me or my subconscious. Sometimes I'll ask a question and get an answer, and then ask it again and get another answer...
@pendejadafcc you open your eyes a few seconds after you ask the question, to see which way it is already moving. This works for most folks who have similar challenges as yours.
Ok, I got it to work, but I really don't think I can get any answers from this... I can control it and feel as if I am when I ask a question. Also, I works much much better if I raise up over my head, it's seems to be much more responsive, why so?
@pendejadafcc for some people, it takes some practice to allow the pendulum to move without your controlling it. Holding it up over your head may be helpful because you can't see it, and therefore feel like you're not intentionally controlling it. Have you tried closing your eyes while asking? that may be helpful for you
I am very skeptical about this. It seems as though you are moving the pendulum with your hand... I am a smart, determined, and open-mindend person but get no results. I'm concentrating on the question and answer but my earbud doesn't move...
@pendejadafcc when you say "my earbud" -- are you using a headphone as a pendulum? Try something different to start with -- best handy pendy for beginners is a ring on a chain. See how that goes for you.

@MontageMonsoon11 I have not found that it matters what material the pendulum is made of. However, individuals may have a different experience. I would try it out and see what you personally get.

really great - I've been using a pendulum for years now and I can highly recommend the use - very good at finding things that got lost - I would say I get abot 95 to 98% correct responses, every time.

My sign kept changing 4 need more information. My yes would stay as goin back n forth diagonally, my no would stay as back n forth left 2 right as shaking the head no but my sign for need more info would go clockwise, then counter clockwise, today it started going back n forth up and down as if shaking a head yes..I just did what you wrote to mariemandona and apparently it has decided to keep the last one it changed to today for my need more info sign. Thank you! I srsly think my signs r odd tho

Also to the other one (no sense in making 2 comments when I can make 1) That's nice to know i'm not the only one and since this is my first pendulum and i've only had it a few days now maybe it is because i'm still so new to it. @Marimandona53 it could be that your signs are changing frequently. Try asking the pendulum if you can have consistent signs for yes, no, and need more info. That usually does the trick.

I was also taught by Jimmy Quast who worked with Michael Newton to turn my palms up and relax and ask for a sign for yes, no, and need more by the moving of my fingers. This works as well, but I still like the pendulum and thank you for your bias tips too!!

I had watched this video and thank you for making it! It's a great video and I just got my first ever pendulum yesterday and it's working for me! My signs are odd (or at least my yes sign is) but like you said all that's important is that I know what it is. My yes sign is actually your need more information sign, going back n forth diagonally, my no sign is back n forth like a head shaking no like yours and my need more information sign it goes in a circle. Maybe i'm odd but I already knew that

@JillianValle you can visit a gem shop or metaphysical store and see which ones you're drawn to...you can pick up a copy of "The Crystal Bible" by Judy Hall and read about the metaphysical properties of crystals...you could choose one in your favorite color, or you could ask an intuitive. When I check in for you, I get rose quartz - it's a lovely light pink color and metaphysically, is connected to unconditional love.

@betthisonesfree interesting that you see communication with your higher self as "cheating" -- most likely you have beliefs related to having to "earn your stripes" or you have a deep-seated belief that life is struggle. Look how many people know smoking is terrible for your health, yet they still do it. Why? Because they have free will of course. Just because you use a tool to find out what's most optimal, it doesn't mean you have to do it -- you choose your actions and decisions, every day.

@rainfrancesmacs great question! Yes, it can definitely sway the swing...but with practice, you can get to the point where it becomes a non-factor. For example, I can get a clear reading in a moving vehicle (where the pendulum "should" only be able to swing in 1 direction because of inertia) but I couldn't do that when I first started using a pendulum.

Hilarious. If you know anything about the neuro-skeletal-muscular system, you'll understand this: all she's proving is the phenomenon of muscle memory and the mind body connection. If you want to know if someone is lying or if you trust someone or something or not, ask your body mind directly and check in with your body, if you feel physically uncomfortable, that's what you can count on. You don't need a pendulum. Your body is already the best designed feedback mechanism in existence.

@SherrinBernstein you are correct...not sure exactly what you see as "hilarious" about that, but the problem is that many people are so disconnected from their bodies, they cannot get a clear read from body only and find a pendulum to be easier to work with. In one of my subsequent videos, I teach people how to access truth using their body, without a pendulum.

Hey Im watching your vid and I just saw how most comments here seem to be positive or ok but at other videos about pendulums most people say its just bs but I dunno I have used a pendulum before and Im pretty sure my hand was not moving but the pendulum was so I dunno I've also used it to find lost objects and it has worked perfectly I dunno what to think or make of it anymore... like people say its gravity...etc...but really how could it work for finding objects then?

@cerise333 mostly, it's related to HOW you ask the question. Or, could be a "big yes" as opposed to a "small yes" or a "small no." Think of it like this -- if someone you really like asked you out, you would give them a BIG YES (even if you played it cool, in your heart you'd feel a big yes). With someone else, it might be a small yes. Capisce? And I'm not surprised that it works better with your left hand -- you are less likely to consciously control the outcome with your non-dominant hand. :-)

@316Spooky Yes swinging front to back is generally yes (like a head nodding) but by "universal" we just mean it's the most common, some people have a different sign for yes, which is why I advise people who are just starting to use pendulum to ask what their sign is for yes and no and need more info.

Awesome! Thank u. So I purchased an amethyst pendulum. I cleansed it using a method of my own devising and charged it under a full moon. @dmana3172 I would say a lot of it is intention. If you are intending to use it to contact spirits, then I'm certain you could use it for that purpose. Personally, I think it's far more useful as a decision-making and/or truth testing tool.

Finally, at about 4:30 she states it starts moving before she even asks the question. Modern psychology has stated and shown that when you ask another person a question and they answer, that somehow the receivers mind heard the question before it was even verbally stated. In basic I can believe this pendulum is attuned to her mind and physical vibrations. I believe a pendulum in this case can tell you what you are subconsciously thinking, and they were used in hypnosis as well, now I can see why

@Abobojo the biggest difference between the two is that "best" implies an inherent judgment -- what you think is "best" is likely not the same as what I think, and from the perspective of the universe, it's all positively perfect, so there can be no "best" in terms of perfection. Optimal is just what's optimal - no judgment. If you try asking both ways (with best, and with optimal) you will often find you get more reliable/accurate answers using "optimal" That's why it's recommended.

There're different theories. Some people believe that it's your subconscious and the muscles in your fingers that moves the pendulum.
I personally believe spirits and those who guide help us, but that's just my belief ;)

Oh and I also think if someone's pendulum isn't moving, you should TELL the pendulum what is yes and what is no, it can save a bit of time. Just say "move it like this for yes, and move it like this for no." That's what I did, and my pendulum moves from left to right for "yes", and to and away from my body for "no". Just thought I'd add that :)

I just thought of something else to ask. Ok, well pendulum was working great for a while, but now all of a sudden it just doesn't seem to move that well for me, almost like it hesitates for every single question I ask it. and won't move as much. What is up with that?

The reason?, because single menas one cpu & dual core means two cpu's, so I figured that two brains (cpu's) installed on the motherboard would think better than one. I purchased one for $699.00 Sony Vaio vpcEE25FX/BI

Wanted to mention that I really enjoy your vidoes, upbeat and to the point! Ok, now I'm relatively new to using a pendulum and I've been testing it with the same questions for several days now. Questions like is my hubby's name? Is my brother's name ? Ok, well I've dosed it and now suddenly it answers incorrectly? I've trained it for yes, no, and maybe. @beautifulworks4u for most people, it doesn't make a difference. you can try with your non-dominant hand, see how it feels and what kind of results you get. Then go with whatever works for you :-)

Well what's the point if I close my eyes? I can't see it. I don't know, when I first started testing it I was moving it where I wanted it to. Now I want a correct answer and am not sure if it's just me or my subconscious. Sometimes I'll ask a question and get an answer, and then ask it again and get another answer...

@pendejadafcc you open your eyes a few seconds after you ask the question, to see which way it is already moving. This works for most folks who have similar challenges as yours.

Ok, I got it to work, but I really don't think I can get any answers from this... I can control it and feel as if I am when I ask a question. Also, I works much much better if I raise up over my head, it's seems to be much more responsive, why so?

@pendejadafcc for some people, it takes some practice to allow the pendulum to move without your controlling it. Holding it up over your head may be helpful because you can't see it, and therefore feel like you're not intentionally controlling it. Have you tried closing your eyes while asking? that may be helpful for you

I am very skeptical about this. It seems as though you are moving the pendulum with your hand... I am a smart, determined, and open-mindend person but get no results. I'm concentrating on the question and answer but my earbud doesn't move...

@pendejadafcc when you say "my earbud" -- are you using a headphone as a pendulum? Try something different to start with -- best handy pendy for beginners is a ring on a chain. See how that goes for you.

@danie193MONSTERMASH actually that is a very very good sign! Sometimes when I am checking a question on behalf of someone else, the pendulum starts swinging even before they finish asking the question. :-)
