Well, no - actually, Hitler was a National Socialist. Big difference from Democratic Socialism (which is what many European countries are today). National Socialism is much more like Fascism. This is why Hitler considered Mussolini / Italy an ally. It is more likely that the ideals of conservatives, taken to the extreme, would lead to fascism than socialism. Democratic socialsim is NOT a dirty word.

Sounds like you are splitting hairs in an attempt to somehow paint the Nazi REGIME as less than brutish. I think we can call this a monumental FAIL. If all you say were true, theres still one very big issue here. The Nazi REGIME - Bound millions in CONCENTRATION. Disease and starvation was inevitable (and it was desirable in the Nazi mind). Actually, if the Nazi "regime" had wanted to snuff a large number, then they'd only have needed to deprive everyone of food and water. In a few-short days everyone would've perished. Why all the rigmarole about coaxing small groups into a "3-car garage"? They felt they needed to give them a proper "gassing," perhaps?

I've read Mein Kampf too - well most of it, man that thing is boring - and hitler is fascist. There's a fine line between socialism and fasicm as both have full controll of the state, you know absolute rule, but they are diffrent in ideals.
