  • Did my peel! I had redness after i washed off (3x I washed my face) but it is dying down now a 1/2 hrmlater. One spot is still red but it doesn't hurt. I applied argan oil and first aid beauty Ultra repair Cream. Thanks for this video!

  • @valygrl1017 Great! You're using excellent products for aftercare too! Thanks for the update! :)

  • Did my mandelic 25% patch test tonight and will be doing my full face Tom night. Thx

  • @valygrl1017 Good for you - I'm so glad you did your patch test! :) Good luck with your full face Mandelic tomorrow! Take care and let me know how it goes!

  • I got some burns from TCA peel.

    They never went away.

    Very annoying!

    Thanks for the video.

  • @karenbcz22 I'm so sorry to hear about your bad TCA experience. TCA is pretty strong stuff. It probably is not permanent but will take a while to fade - I agree, it is annoying. Thanks for watching and take care!

  • Hi Dina,

Ty for fixing the ipad glitch! After watching this I am leaning towards the mandelic acid since it seems to be more of an exfoliator than a peel. I only use a clarisonic for exfoliating so hopefully this won't be very harsh. The peel I purchased (more than 1 year ago) is the 15% tca. I'm going to hold off on that for now, especially after you said 'after the scab..." lol, too scary!! great video!

  • @kimdemby This Mandelic acid peel has reached Holy Grail status for me. Yes, it is an excellent exfoliator! I use my Clarisonic just for deep cleaning and don't expect it to exfoliate like a peel or my MK microdermabrasion cream. Do expect down time with TCA. I'm considering doing a full-face TCA but only if we get snowed in this winter. After a year, your TCA solution may have lost its potency - honestly, I'd toss it. :( Thank you for watching!

  • Thanks for posting! There are not enough asian peel videos... I'm thinking about trying a MUAC peel but am very hesitant. I have never tried a chemical peel. What do you recommend I try first? I just subscribed to your channel and saw your age!!! Wow there must have been a typo... you look great! I can't believe it!

  • @MegaRaptorsfan I appreciate you watching and commenting! They really aren't as scary as they seem but Asian skin does have to be treated gently. I would recommend trying the 25% Mandelic Acid sample size first but only on non-broken skin, as for all chemical peels. It's highly recommended to do a patch test before. MUAC gives detailed directions and their customer service is good if you have questions. These skin lightening products have anti-aging side benefits so that's definitely a plus! :)

  • @betbet816 YW and congrats! Washing w/soap and water after will not affect the peel. This just ensures that all the acid is neutralized & gone. Once you rinse/wash it's done! The thing that will negate the effect would be before doing the peel - if skin is not cleansed and rid of oils properly before applying the acid. If you have no irritation, you can do a gentle scrub in a few days and another mandelic peel next week. If your skin is sensitive, space the treatments out and adjust. :)

  • Thanks for the video! I recently ordered 40% lactic acid and 25% mandelic acid from the same site you did. I've only done the lactic acid once and haven't tried the mandelic yet..how long should I wait to do the mandelic? When I'm finished with the lactic or can I use both?

  • @sasababy14 YW! You are smart to start off with the 40% lactic acid. I thought my skin could handle 55% but I got minor acid burns because it was too strong for me. Stronger is not necessarily better. You can definitely alternate between lactic and mandelic peels. That's a great way to compare your results and customize your routine. You may even prefer one over the other. To avoid over-exfoliating, spacing out peels by at least two days is important. Work up to twice a week max. Take care! :)

  • Thanks for the very sweet comment you posted on my profile. You are awesome as well and I look forward to seeing more videos in the future

  • Great vid, really informative, I was going to to pay £160 to get this done in a skin clinic, but I now feel more confident to try a Mandelic peel at home.

  • @MyBlushing30s Thank you! That is exactly why I do these peels at home - to save money and time! You can totally do this and get very nice results! Good luck!

  • thank u for another informative video! again, lov how you know so much about the ingredients and effects on the skin - you sound like a professional dermatolagist! Very helpful. I tried to reply on ur other vid, but kept getting 'error' message' !

  • @shivayalovsmakeup You're welcome. :) You're too kind!
