Only thing I have to say is that what you are calling as an OVERTONE is not a real overtone, and in the most of the cases you are not singing a C but the fifth, wich is in this case a G so I am kinda confused, would you like to tell me what do you acuatlly mean, if a C or a G or the other notes you are singing, and this obstruction of the plain sound you talk about is created because when you finally hit the C is not in tune!

He's just teaching wrong things: he's posture is wrong - If we speak about "energy" air and blood are forms of energy that pass through our body, but if you block it by bending your neck on one side and playing to the side of your mouth

@doc412allghny : By what you say I understand that you didn't read all that I write, as it was pretty obvious that I play this instrument. Anyway I'll answer you more precisely: I play and teach this instrument since 5 years, not just a "sitting room curiosity" or a hippy hitng but practicing, studiyng, researching everyday very seriously and playing it in three musical gruops. And it's a musical instrument.

Said that I think that music doesn't need this newage bullshit to be spiritual. peace:)

Bueno, discrepo bastante en lo ke dices hermano, en referente a la sanación o curación.

Lo primero ke deberias tener en cuenta es tu postura con el didge.

No puedes curar a nadie si tu no estas alineado, si tocas de lado, PON TU CABEZA RECTA.

Hablas mucho y a mi parecer te falta mucha practica para enseñar lo ke enseñas.

Yes. This is a big problem about music and spirituality: there are many kinda hippies, false shamans saying false things about music and spirituality. :-)

And the video is not even so good musically... I mean, there are lots of people playing the didje since the half time of this man and doing it really really better than him (and they aren't speaking you about a not well defined "energy" or healing). ;-)
