The thing about Lucy Hammond (Or whoever played Claudia/Jenny) will return at the very end of Series 4. Danny will be stumbling through anomalies throughout the episode, and eventually finds his way back home...or is it.
He finds out that he is in the Series 1 universe. There he meets Claudia Brown, who hasn't left the Primeval team. Of course it wouldn't be revealed to be the Series 1 universe until Series 5...
