  • What's that song at the beginning???? :)

  • 4:20 you can count on the good old tyre kick to check the pressure.

  • I am not being wise or anthing but why no water curtain salute?

  • Congratulations Frank...thanking you for escorting millions of people safely around the world. God bless you

  • I wanna end up like him so badly...

  • I didnt know American did transatlantic flights with their 757

  • I'm just say Respect for this guy ...

  • Really enjoyed this - congratulations Cpt, I sure hope you are enjoying your retirement.

  • they use 757s for trans-atlantic flights?

  • @Abeltramello Yes.

  • What a wonderful video! What a wonderful man! I'm totally envious, at 72 years of age, of his flying career. He did it HIS way, no question about it. Thanks, N-6395T

  • @mmichaeldonavon Looking at 95T Michael, it looks like you might be having more fun, though!

  • You did an amazing job with this video. My uncle retired from United after 30 years and is now home driving my aunt crazy:-) Actually he has a real estate office and sends daily inappropriate jokes everyday via email. We lovingly look forward to them (kinda). What is Frank doing today? Our prayers and well wishes are with him and his beautiful family! Congratulations!! PS - A drug test?? He looks like a real "stoner", NOT!!!

  • he does fly!

  • wow

  • Great video. I can't help but get teary-eyed when I hear of last flights. I've been on duty (air traffic control) with a few of them, due to retirement, airline closure, or pilot resignation. They are always emotional on both sides of the radio. I hope Frank went on to enjoy his love of flying in new pursuits. He was a lucky man to have flown arguably the greatest aircraft ever built. Boeing 757-200.

  • Fantastic tribute - thank you for sharing. The FA on that flight has flown me before.

  • ALL I CAN SAY IS GOOD VIDEO

  • look at 3:00

  • 757 or 767 or 777? couldnt tell from apparent 757 outside but 767/777 interior

  • @hoomg9 757-200.

  • GUAOO, MUY EMOCIONANTE Y TRISTE A LA VEZ CONGRATULATIONS FRANK...

  • did he pass the drug test>? LOL jk

  • Great pilot ! good luck for the future :D

  • What a lovely video. I hope he still flies light aircraft

  • my 9th time watching this. watched it almost once a month

  • @fly4fun May I ask what camera did you use to shoot this? Also, why no water canon, what's up with that?

  • @biorgymd Canon 5D Mark II. Boston said they stopped doing the water canon salutes for retirements.

  • @fly4fun Why?!

  • just wow, i respect Frank

  • You know you're a Captain when you put your watch in your right hand.

  • No firetrucks?? :(

  • lol its the captain's last flight and for the first officer it is his first flight

  • Congrats to frank i am going to be a pilot too i wish i could fly with you

  • Great video, what kind of camera were you using?

  • Beautiful!

  • Congrats Frank. Looks like your set for life!

  • I've always flown with American Airlines in and out of Boston, MA. and I would just like to say that I am a passenger that is absolutely glad to fly with American Airlines due to the amazing crew. I will continue flying with this airline as long as I can! God bless you Frank and best wishes!

  • How do you do that globe thing at 0:33? website or homemade?

  • @DavidAndRhys It's an iMovie feature.

  • amazing super pilot and a gentleman

  • Great! Good job! THANKS!!!!

    GOD BLESS YOU AND FRANK!!!!!!

  • Very inspiring.

  • Very fitting and appropriate video for someone who loved and most definitely still loves what he did. 14 000 hours with one company is just ridiculous! Congrats on retirement (even though it happened a while ago)...I hope to end up on one of your flights some time! Take care and fly safe!

  • I was actually in tears watching this. I hope one day I will be a pilot (on his last flight).

  • Bet this guy started Flight Instructing shortly after this. You cant just "stop" flying, we fly till we die..

  • Very nice video, very nice to have so many people and your family to love you captain. Enjoy your retirement.

  • Enjoy the retirement Captain! All the best!

  • @9:30.........that's a good looking family. Very proud family. Awesome video and thanks for sharing!

  • What an amazing video. I am an aspiring pilot still at school, I hope someday I can end up like Frank. A legend he seems. Congratulations Frank.

  • Please, the name of the song at 05:17, Thanks

  • @goldeneagle36 All songs are listed in the credits at the end in the order they appear.

  • @goldeneagle36 either its pendulum, or the version I like is opus magnum phase1.

  • OK my hearing came back after a few minutes

  • I think I'm going deaf in my right ear.....

  • And in what kind of plane did he did this final flight?

  • @Jeaust8V Probably the 777.

  • @Jeaust8V This is a 767-300

  • Comment removed

  • @FSXkid11 It's actually the Boeing 757-200

  • @Jeaust8V Its a Boeing 757-200

  • Congratulations Frank!

  • I am not trying to get thumbs up, but I have to say those people who disliked this don't have a soul.

  • I'm just starting out as a commercial pilot. Loved this video, the man's an inspiration.

  • I plan to fly for American one day. I'm only 11 years old and know each airliner out there. The worst part of your career is retirement. I love to fly.

  • thumbs up if you watched the whole thing!

  • in 5:24 you can see both sadness and happies at capt. Frank's face happy to retire and sad cause will miss flying :(

  • Srly who is so idiot to dislike... :/

  • its so fucking sad it made me cry ,,,if i become a pilot for a big airline i would never want to stop flying ,,i have seen seniors pilot cry in their seat because of their retirement ,,we fly because we love it not because of the damn money,,thats why i work from 7am to 11pm to pay for my pilot school ,,,,nice video love it

  • @luislaurencio hard work will pay off at the end. goodluck!

  • Dear Frank, as a pilot who has been exploited, underpayed, and who is now unemployed and close to lose hope, I hope someday I'll have the chance to retire as you did, with a smile on my face and the feeling that something will always be missing in my life from then on. Cheers Captain, and thank you.

  • Felicitaciones capitan saludos desde Ecuador!

  • Nice Video, but I missed Take-offs and Lanings, especially his last one !

  • what airline? and congrats

  • @CirrusPilotsr20

mate, they mentioned "american airlines" 20 times in this vid and you can also see the airplane from the outside at one point.

  • Wow... amazing!

  • This is the worst part about becoming a pilot.. retirement! Great work! I'm sure he'll live on to fly!

  • Did he hand fly the a/c? If it was my last flight I would.

  • @emp29 me too

  • Congratulation Frank! I hope you will accomplish your new challenges and dreams that offer the retirements! All step in life bring new opportunities that wait for us to master and enjoy...

For a while there when u brought up the son was a pilot to i was just waiting for the mother were if not a pilot from the industry. A hattrick :-)

So what happened later afer the retirement? Did he start fly smaller airplanes?

  • It must be hard to retire after 23 years of flying. Congratulations Frank, I am sure there are other exciting stuff,he will do in retirement, still look good and healthy. Canon 5D Mark II is an excellent camera, widely used by professionals. Good job and good editing as well.

  • i read all your blogs and love your youtube channel! love u kent

  • Awesome, really love it, whats song 3:21? :)

  • @PeterKocisVOX Thanks! It's "Parisian" by Kevin Macleod.

  • @fly4fun why they draw something on the map at start? dont they have a fmc route which they enter or should they make their own?

  • Ser Piloto de un Avion es el sueño que jamas Lograre Hacer!

    Pero no me Importa!

    :)

  • Thank you for uploadig this video! Just love it! God bless you, Captain Frank!:)

  • Great Frank. Alles Gute!

  • Great video, you should consider teaming up with Justplanes or worldairroutes to do a cockpit DVD on American Airlines....they just did a series with Air Canada!

  • Congratulations. This guy seems about as humorous and fun as a bowl of soup. Cmon man, don't be so friggin serious.

  • @HarryWang170 Well, I don't blame him. His life as an airline pilot has just come to an end. He's probably really sad.

  • Hi, Very nice video! I will be starting flight training in a few months! I have 2 questions to ask, 1, All the pilots I see carry larger luggage bags (like the ones Captain Frank is carrying in this video), and I don't see plain old suitcases anymore. Is that because nowadays there is more to carry on board? and 2, When you are hired to fly for an airline, do you get to choose whether you want to wear long or short sleeve shirts? I see 90% wear short sleeve, and a few with long sleeve. Thanks

  • over 14,000 thousand hours if i get that ever company would won't me

  • @N0rM3lz They would want you if any company could actually understand what you are typing.

  • I bet Frank saw the downfall of American Airlines first hand. It´s sad but Frank don´t have to fly for a one star airline at Skytrax in decline nymore.

  • Congratulations on a Fantastic career, I hope i end up just like you in the future
