  • @OhBabyItsEva Classic version has plyoetrics which I think is key to awesome results! The lean version seems a little easier to me.

  • What I'm most impressed with is the weight loss up around your face. That's crazy! I don't mean that the way it could sound - I'm starting P90X next week, and, strangely, getting my head and neck back down to what I think they should look like is the part I'm looking forward to the most.

  • Wow great job! I bought p90x last year... guess I've either been to afraid to try it or just haven't had the time and... im sure the laziness word fit into there somewhere lol... I'm a cancer survivor and had lots of steroids cuz of a transplant and I had over ate lol so I'm 25yrs old now and 200lbs since then... and diabetic... and I have no strength... How do you do p90x when you can't do more than half? I know I'll have to do it differently but how? Any advice would be of help... ty!

  • @Crystollina There is a saying in P90X, "Do your best adn forget the rest!" If you can only do half of the dvd, but you did your absolute best to get it done, than that's all that matters! Doing half is better than doing nothing! If you follow the nutrition guide and stick with the routines, you will notice weight loss quickly and then you will notice you will be improving in your workouts.   • Hi my main issue is my tummy but i plan to work on all areas. I was thinking of doing abs every other day. how often did u do abs?

  • @triniparang Every other day is great! I do abs about 3-4 times a week when I do resistence training. If I'm lifting, I do an ab workout afterwards. Have you thought of doing P90X or INSANITY?   • @dinahmite425 Yes, I do have protein bars and shakes. Protein bars are great for a quick fix or a meal on the go, and I'll drink a protein shake before a workout on occassion. Not so much anymore because I've added Shakelogy into my diet and this meal replacement is a protein shake and everything else I need all packed into one!! I wasn't able to pull myself off the ground for a pull up when I started and after 1 round I could do 3 in a row, after 2 rounds I could do 4, after round 3 I could do 6 and after a round of Insanity I could do 9 :) Same with pushups, I could only do 3 when I started, now I can do 40 :) If you eat right do your best and stick with the program, you will get awesome results!! ~ cravetheburn(dot) com for more info!!!

  • @crissy1234567890 Before P90X Oh ya! Gross flab (mommy flab) and my legs were nothing to brag about either, but they may have been my best feature at the time, lol! After 1 round of P90X my tummy was flat, but not really toned. After the second round, I had a 6 pack, no loose skin at all! My legs lost all unnecessary flab and became very tone after 90 days.   • yeah another fail video, dong right make your body good, doing wrong get your body like this, most of the people doing this kind of programs do not follow instructions and they just do not get the results.. it is only 90 days of commitment... still people just can not follow..

  • Your post confuses me, but thats ok. I agree to some extent, You have to be in the right frame of mind to do a program like P90X & make it a lifetime commitment. You have to have dicipline, determination & dedication. If you buy it on a whim expecting to magically get results without effort, then yes, you wasted your money.   • you look the best on day 30. only thing i would change is your legs; they need to be a little bigger. on day 90 you are too skinny. your body looks like a little girls body, and your boobs shrunk.

  • @walkinrock Yes, I agree my legs needed more work, lol. This was over a year ago, I've done 2 more rounds of P90X since and a round of INSANITY.   • @OutbackRay Very sorry but I disagree with the first comment. First of all, I would kill to be 124 lbs, which is what I was in college at my fittest and healthiest, working out almost every day. So it's obvious that you are just built this way, small and petite. I honestly didn't notice much of a change in the chest area, and even in the beginning your legs looked like they were made to be "skinny" legs, the kind that are SUPER hard to bulk up, so overall, I think you did an AMAZING job!

  • @chriscoleman102 I get plenty of protein, but thanks :) I followed the P90X diet plan when I did my 1st round then learned from there. It's a great nutrition plan and will not only give you great results but will teach you how to eat!

    I have a body type very similar to what you started with... the only difference is I haven't seen ANY results!!!  I started out the first 4 weeks completely committed. (Diet and exercise) Phse two, I dropped down to 3-4 days/week. I am now starting phase 3... I am thinking ir must be my eating... My thyroid is fine... Is there breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner that you swear by? Thanks so very much, you are inspiring!

  • @skukurud Hi :) Diet is most likely the issue. It is 80% of the workout, so if you dont eat clean, you wont get results. Plus if you are eating as much as the diet says to eat now and only working out 3-4 times a week you are consuming way too much! Take a look at my site at cravetheburn(dot)com.   • @SuperChimmy I wouldn't say it's easy at 1st, but it teaches you how to eat healthy. Once you learn how to eat clean, you will no longer need the guide :) After the 90 days you will have a good undertanding of how to eat. Hope this helps! cravetheburn(dot)com

  • @urmom1209 I lost 7 lbs in the 1st 2 weeks, but I started noticing the change in my body after about 4 weeks. Each month I took a new pic and couldn't believe the changes that were going on...I think day 60 was the most shocking for me. Check out my 180 day video "Leslie's P90X Transformation~Round 2".   • @ashliems I did classic version. I liked it better because it had plyometric, which to me was a must! Plyo will give you the muscle you're looking for!! Good luck!!

  • @OutbackRay I was thinking plyo would be too much, only because my husband says its pretty intense, so i was going to keep with cardio but i guess i'll give it a shot.

  • It is very intense, but if you think about it, that's what P90X is all about :) Pushing yourself to the max...just do your best and forget the rest! Try it out, see what you think and then make your decision but I know you can do this if you put your mind to it!! Trust me, I've been there, but in order to move forward you should try to go outside of your comfort zone ;) Bring It Girl!!!! Then let me know what you think :)

  • @milly1327 Milly - There are TONS of recovery drinks out there. I'm on my 2nd cycle of P90X. I'm in the infomercial and I drink the P90X Results and Recovery formula. I swear by it 110%. It is absolutely delicious and I kid you not...about 3/4 of the way through the routines my mind is already looking forward to drinking it. It motivates me to finish my routine and quench my thirst with it's awesome goodness. The same is said for protein powder. The one I use is Tony Labrada ProV60.

  • Hello :) I do recommend taking a multivitamine ( I take " Alive") and at least some sort of protein/carb drink after a workout. If you don't want to go out and buy a recovery drink, drink 8 oz of chocolate milk after a workout, it give you the carbs you need to replenish your body and the protein your body needs as well :) Good luck!!

  • I followed the P90X diet they provided, the portion plan, not the menu plan. Yes, the dvds were my only source of working out. My advice to anyone out there who wants results..If you don't do it 100%, you may as well not do it! You have to want it and want it bad! You can't do this half way, you must put your all in to it! P90X is so worth the hard work and effort!! If you do your absolute best, your body will have not choice but to give you awesome results!!! Good luck!!

  • This is a HUGE inspiration for me. I just started P90X 5 days ago. I'm rotating between that and The Biggest Loser Wii fit game. I find by rotating every second day between P90X and TBL, it gives me a great "break" without really taking a break. I started at 215lbs, my goal is 140. I'm only 23 and I've always been bigger, so I'm hoping this is my chance to get fit and feel better.   • Wow you are definitely an inspiration! I had a question about you saying you took a Multivitamin and chocolate milk instead of the P90x products. What Multivitamin did you take (brand, etc.). Thanks!!

  • I take "Alive" multivitamines. You can get them at any health food store. Also, the chocolate milk is a great recovery drink if you dont want to buy a powder.

  • is it ok to feel sore after your first workout?

  • You will probably feel sore for the first week or so. Unless you feel pain like your injured, then you want to have it checked out or take it easy. But other than that, sorness is good thing!!

  • @ILuVyOu1234100 Everyone always feel sore after their first working out. Then your body will hit new-gain. (fast physical change you see) Then your body with know to recover fast enough and well enough for another workout. :). I really want to try this out. I've been weightlifting for about 5 Months and it helped but my weight was still heavy. You'll do great!
