The "Titans" were the best team in the country that year for lots of reasons, scored on or not. You have to think about what they overcame, the amount of adversity they endured was incredible.. Nothing aganist T. Jefferson in Brooklyn, what a great season they had indeed, but they didn't have the off field mayheim going on that the Titans had. The amount of focus and character that took, then being forced to play in a championship game without an All-American, unreal, that to me equals #1..
