Big ass HELP! thank you now i know how to level off and not keep going up my altitude when i am supposed to be at FL350 not FL380! Thank you big hlp with auto pilot
Just to clarify a point. When selecting a Takeoff Flap Configuration setting (in most cases tends to be Config 1 in real life scenarios, i.e FLL), the THS isn't necessarily 0. Depending on the Weight & Balance calculations, payload distribution, you'll find the THS can be set > +/- 0.1 UP/DN.
Also, if you are following a SID, you would "push" Speed and Heading for Managed mode. This is Airbus standard procedure. If no SID, preselect cleared HDG and pull accordingly when airborne.
2 things: 1. THS means trim horizantal stabilizer, which means you are telling the fmgc the trim setting A setting of 240 should not be possible. THS should be 0 so the fmgc automatically set the trim for you. 2. The speed and heading should not be in managed modes this early in the flight. Your initial speed should be V2+10. Your heading should be initial runway heading. In this case heading should be 045 degrees since ATIS said runway 4 left and right was in use.
@paydayflyer5 I Have This Wilco Airbus, But How Do I Set The Autothrottle, Because I Right Click It, SEt The Speed, then What Because It Does Not Stay At The Speed?>
