You seem to have forgotten the battery life on the 2 phones. The X2 has a much longer battery life than the Droid 3

With a faster gpu (power vr sgx 540) and a faster cpu (omap 4), 1080p hd video capture, a front facing camera, global support, 16gb of onboard storage, and android 2.3 the droid 3 looks better on paper... But the droid x2 is a better overall fone and shows that hardware dosnet tell the whole story...

droid 3 physical keyboard STILL does not have a spell checker! Nobody ever mentions that. there is nothing worse than writing a letter to a boss or client and looking like a fool with misspelled words. keyboard is rendered useless and spell check apps are ridiculous because you have to copy/paste the doc. GRRRR!

you should get the droid 3 ive had mine since it came out and its been pretty amazing but i upgraded from a old Motorola droid so it was a major upgrade. the only things i don't like about it, is the camera and the front facing camera, its not the great quality. the keyboard is the best i absolutely love it and mainly the whole phone is awesome! as i said before its just the camera that ruined the phone a bit, but other than that its pretty awesome!(:

Droid 3s keyboard kills on screen keyboards, i use my front camera all the time to take good pics of me with my friends, when u cant with the X2 since they took away the camera button, so good luck pressing the on screen shutter button and take a good pic of urself with friends

I have the DROID x2 running the latest version of gingerbread and I love it. The x2 ran more smoothly at the store than the DROID 3. Its screen is also amazing. I can't see the pixels. The DROID x2 also has much better screen contrast than the DROID 3. I only used the DROID 3 at the store for probably 15 minutes but in that time, I decided on the x2. It is a good looking phone. At its thickest part, it is still thinner than the DROID 3. The x2 has a great soft keyboard even with big fingers.

Great review. The physical keyboard is the main reason I will (hopefully) be getting the DROID 3. I wanted the iphone 4 at 1st, but once you look into it Droids are much better than the iphones. Iphones are more "iconic" which is why most people buy it, but dont get me wrong it is still a great phone.

It's not fair to compare the smoothness of the DROID X2 considering it doesn't have Gingerbread or the updated and optimized Blur. Since the DROID 3 has both of these...of course it's gonna be smoother and most likely faster in most areas.....
