Guys. I had a choice between an iPhone 4 and a Droid 2 Global. I picked the Droid because i thought it was awesome BUT i was terribly wrong. It works like a beauty for the first month maybe but then it starts acting stupid. Pick the iPhone 4. It's better. TRUST ME!

Relating the software speed, it is not a good comparison the one made on the video, since the Droid is running a "live" background, which, obviousl, pushes the cpu a lot more and drains the baery faster... And I can tell you it DOES make a lot of diference in performance and battery life.I wish reviews were indeed the most "honest" possible in some cases...
I've owned both and I kinda like the DROID better because its more advanced, more features and has a keyboard. however the iphone is a great phone but if you have it for a while you will get bored with it. plus the DROID is a tank!! I've thrown it I've punched it and ut has even fell in the water! I dropped my phone and the glass broke and the sound was broke. good job Motorola!

The Google operating system for the Droid X & the Droid X2 suxs!!! I started out with the Droid X in Aug 2010. I'm now on my 6th replacment and have just ordered my 7th (3 Droid X & 4 Droid X2). These phones run slow and often lock up to the point that you can't make calls or use any applications. I run the typical apps like email, facebook & twitter. Save your money folks.
Anyone else kinda wish Motorola didnt mess with the droid 2's design? Like, look at it. Its amazing. Spec wise, yes it needed an update and the newer keyboard is pretty good but they shouldnt have strayed too far away from this.

my droid 2 has problems sometimes the keyboard will take you on a short cut...say i was typing a text message if i hit c while typing it takes me to a calendar while im typing..if i hit b---> browser p--->player ext i find it very frustrating because itll happen at random times while im texting leading me to just have to text on the screen it lags sometime and since the update restarts at least twice a day...i have decided today that i will convert to the iphone 4...just some of my feed back

But you should have switched flash player off before testing the speed.. if you don't, loading the flash content will slow down Droid, even when panning and scrolling, don't you think?
What's flash really good for beside loading ads that slow down the browser and porn? Android users really needs to stop using that argument because no one NEEDS flash on a mobile phone. Coming from a guy whos about to ditch his droid for an iPhone 4. :) Its just about that time. Save yourself from the headache of any of the droids, especially the X/2 with their crappy software.
@DukoBenedicto Depends on what you really use your phone for. If you are just a regular user, you won't gain much. But if you like to develop third party apps, have more customized apps and still have a smooth UI, they definitely go for it. I'd recommend using RedSn0w. JailbreakMe has been having some security issues and I wouldn't recommend it at the moment. Use some tutorials from YouTube. ;D
@DukoBenedicto No, you may get some Lag in the lock screen or when you start up, but other than that it will be the same. You may experience lower battery life though. But that is usually only when you are using Applications from Cydia.
@TESgamingcontrol it all depends wether you want more customizable feutures.from personal use i would choose android over Ios but its all what u want.and if u get a droid then u could get the phone and get an SD card up to 32gb instead of paying $300 dollars for a 32gb iphone4.

I have an extended life battery for my Droid 2 Global, it solved the battery problem it had. Also what most people fail to point out is the Iphone has no way to change the battery or memory card. So if your battery dies you go to get a new phone, if you want bigger memory, you got to spend big bucks on the more expensive model. where as the droid if your battery dies or you want bigger memory you can simply drop a small amount of cash on a new memory card.

My brother and I got phones at the same time; he got the iPhone and I got the Droid 2 Global. His original phone is still running perfect, but I've had 2 Droid 2 Globals... the first went crazy, and the second one wouldn't charge. The one I have now won't charge either. I'm definitely getting an iPhone as soon as possible.

Completely biased!! first the Iphone is fully charged like 96% and the droid is down to like 10%! the only thing the Iphone has on the droid is battery life,my droid battery could be better but if you shut off all the crap that u dont need on constantly the life is improved greatly,At first i was getting about two hours out of it,after turning off wifi ,gps,and data sync and vibrate touch,not vibratiting ringer tho,My charge lasted a full day and into the next afternoon!! which for me is fine!!
My friends say that iPhone is better. They are so wrong. If you already have an iPod touch, it makes absolutely no sense buying an iPhone to do the exact same thing. If you have the iPod touch and the droid together, or even just the droid, it gives you a much better experience than the iPhone could.
I would just like to point out that the motobuzz skin actually is graphics heavy, and if you manually update, you will notice tremendous increases in speed.
I love my droid 2, in comparison to my sisters i phone four and my gf htc inspire my phone kicks both their butts, its just a matter of figuring out how to operate it and insalling the right apps to optimize the phone!
Ok, after reading the comments, DROID 2 has apps to help with battery, and you can turn off your data to give you another 1-3 days out of your battery. When you're not using the data turn it off. @J0nboy5: You DROID freezes up because 1, you don't restart it every so often and 2 you prolly have a million virus's on it from not watching what you download. FFS These are miniature computers guys; treat them right and they'll treat you right... just like women.

I think the motorola droid 2 is better and is way cheaper than the iphone 4, hey do you think you could do a video of the HTC inspire 4g vs the motorola droid 2, I noticed there's none, pretty good comparisions btw

Iphone sucks and You ALL know it.
1: little to no customization
2: only one model each year so no pick on which look you'd prefer
3: most apps COST money where the android app store majority of the apps are free
4: battery life doesnt matter if its battery cant be replaced if needed so once it dies you're screwed until you find a computer or outlit. all android phones batteries are replaceable.
5:still doesn't support flash which should be standard these days considering even windows phones do.

4) iphone batteries are replaceable you just have to send it out.
5) Some browsers still don't support flash >_> thats why most people don't care to learn it.

@gameking141 and allow me to add to the battery thing? the fact that you have to send out for a new battery is even more annoying when i can easily just go to a verizon store or go online say i want a new battery buy it on the spot it gets sent to my house i open up the back and pop the new battery in. simple as that unlike you who would have to send your phone back to apple or have them send you some stupid little special tool thats required to open up the dam thing just to get to the battery.

@icekillez 1 jailbreaking only gives u free crappy. It doesn't truly give you complete control over the device. every phone that's released for Droid are from multiple companies on multiple services with multiple specs so no ur wrong and Yah totally send off ur phone to the company just for a battery replacement totally worth it. Oh wait I can open my phones back up and replace it for 6$. The phone doesn't fully officially support flash most flash based sites don't work on iPhone but Droid does

Since when is the iPhone a bold statement? don't get me wrong, they are nice phones, but jeez you make it sound like your part of a cult bowing down to it. He was correct, with a droid and an iPod touch, you basically have what the iphone can do adn then some.

Completely biased!! first the Iphone is fully charged like 96% and the droid is down to like 10%! the only thing the Iphone has on the droid is battery life,my droid battery could be better but if you shut off all the crap that u dont need on constantly the life is improved greatly,At first i was getting about two hours out of it,after turning off wifi ,gps,and data sync and vibrate touch,not vibratiting ringer tho,My charge lasted a full day and into the next afternoon!! which for me is fine!!

My friends say that iPhone is better. They are so wrong. If you already have an iPod touch, it makes absolutely no sense buying an iPhone to do the exact same thing. If you have the iPod touch and the droid together, or even just the droid, it gives you a much better experience than the iPhone could.

I love my droid 2, in comparison to my sisters i phone four and my gf htc inspire my phone kicks both their butts, its just a matter of figuring out how to operate it and insalling the right apps to optimize the phone!

Ok, after reading the comments, DROID 2 has apps to help with battery, and you can turn off your data to give you another 1-3 days out of your battery. When you're not using the data turn it off. @J0nboy5: You DROID freezes up because 1, you don't restart it every so often and 2 you prolly have a million virus's on it from not watching what you download. FFS These are miniature computers guys; treat them right and they'll treat you right... just like women.
