How can I get that driver menu? I don't have such a disc, and I cannot seem to be able to do anything for if I download it from the site. I am stuck in a very nasty position.

I've recently got this mouse, and I can't get the cap off to insert new weights. Is this a common issue or am I just stupid? I know which side to turn it (match up the arrows) but I can't move it.

Ive spent weeks researching Razer products. Having never owned any "gaming" periphials I wanted to make the right choice. Was going to get the Razer Mamba, Razer Lycosa, Razer Carcharias, and Razer Ironclad. Now that i've found Roccat im in love. Thank you for the video. Will be purchasing Roccat Kone +, Roccat Isku, and Roccat Kulo 7.1. Build quality just seems so much better. And when my Razer Ironclad starts peeling...well guess i'll get a Roccat Alumic too. So glad I found this.
Hey Vortez, i just got a quick question i got my kone+ today but the software takes ages for it to apply new things i told it to, and the dpi voice is slow aswell unlike yours on the video

This is the best mouse EVER PERIOD. Razor is a little piece of paper compared to Roccat Kone [+] BUY THIS MOUSE! IT IS WORTH IT. I tought owww, this is just another plain mouse, but it is perfect, 6000 DPI and it is soooooooooooo precise!!!
@VortezReviews Yeah it's obviously a benefit, as up and down is just as useless in game as no sound, active dictation of the DPI setting is much more useful, I've owned the first Kone, in which the Mouse wheel Broke, they replaced it with the V2 and that is now my dads mouse as it was perfect still I'd say the Kone's are the best mouses in the world, good review. The auto profile switches for differed games and apps is one of its best features imo.
@austinwangg I claw gripped with my old mouse, and to be honest, the grip you use is going to be based on the mouse you use. I claw gripped my old mouse because it was a mouse made to claw grip on. Now with this new mouse, I grip it differently, but it is just as good :)

I've had big problems with this mouse, and for me it's totally useless. I was really looking forward to get this mouse with it's enhanced TDCU unit, however i'm gonna have to return this. I hope it's just a malfunction with the one i got and hopefully the next one i recieve will function properly and not having a mouse marker moving across the screen by itself.
Believe me it's not a driver or tdcu calibration issue
Just got this mouse yesterday along with the Roccat Taito mousepad. I'm a beast at CoD4 and MW2 now! BTW I don't play BO cuz it's boring... But the point is I had a Dell mouse and a random small crap mousepad and I was average, I got 2KDR's and 3 KDR's often but i get like 6 KDr's now
I researched for months and not because of cost I picked the deathadder 3500 dpi, what I found out is true all games pc version wont let you use all the features/dpi settings on "Mouse Button Assignments", plus the 2 large side buttons are great for guys with big hands, I do like the weights in this model.

6000 dpi? Rediculously good! I'm buying one of the best gaming mouses out there is 3 weeks. ATM I'm using a Packard Bell shit ass mouse and a fucked up mouse pad. And a packard bell keyboard. I'm buying the kone +, roccat sense and sidewinder x6
@asymmetricknight You certainly can. You just need to go into the button assignment on the ROCCAT software and for button 5 just change the option from EasyShift to whatever you want to assign.
vlefteris the g700 is a good mouse but the quality is not good. I have both and the roccat has more grip. Its more handly. And the kone + has got light the g700 not. Really: I love this lights.

I have a big problem with this mouse. In the Windows menu, the sensitivity is great. When Im playing games like CS 1.6 or COD the sensitivity is great. But when im playing GTA4 or Mafia 2, the sensitivity is very high. Can you help me how to solve this problem ? my old logitech mouse doent have this problem. Thanks :)
@sysel777 When you say in the Windows Menu - do you mean the ROCCAT software? If you haven't installed the software go ahead and do this. Otherwise, have you got any other mouse driver software installed on the system that may be conflicting perhaps? (you mentioned a previous Logitech mouse)
@Mizuushii I contacted Roccat and they said that it sounds like a hardware defect, meaning that maybe only MY kone+ has this wheel problem. If I scroll down or up it moves abruptly, I go down, it goes up, down,down,up.

@Kevin9488 Depends on where you are the Naos 5000 is priced just a little short of the Kone+. Really the Kone+ is in a totally different league. The Naos 5000 also has a different grip, its a lot wider than the Kone+ so it really depends on the style you prefer and hand size. With regards to features and quality the Kone+ is a clear winner!

After hearing that, I also agree with the fact that Roccat offers more features than the Mionix. Hehe, perhaps the VortezReviews website should make that clear. Why don't they add some of these new features to the old Kone software so we can use them also. I just bought the old Kone about 2 mths ago and I see they have not released new software/drivers for exactly a year now.

Well, I had the old version of the Kone, the normal one, and well, its not bad, but the sensor is just weird. I mean it has some kind of "aim-helping system", its not as accurate as a "raw sensor mouse" like the Intellimouse. The customization is just amazing, but seriously, if you want pure performance, the Kone isn't the way to go. Maybe I was just unlucky, but thats how it went for me..
It looks awesome! If I save some more money (I want a new video card, a new PSU and a new Case first), I'll get this with the keyboard Logitech G11! :D

vlefteris the g700 is a good mouse but the quality is not good. I have both and the roccat has more grip. Its more handly. And the kone + has got light the g700 not. Really: I love this lights.

.......and would go loose! Now logitech makes that with a switch! Positions or loose wheel! Brilliant! Also the G700 wheel doesnt make that shitty annoying click sound, its almost inaudible! The G700 doesnt have shift buttons but it has 13 buttons in all and MUCH better placed! I LOVE THIS MOUSE!!! Check it out guys and SCREW rottencat!!

I have a big problem with this mouse. In the Windows menu, the sensitivity is great. When Im playing games like CS 1.6 or COD the sensitivity is great. But when im playing GTA4 or Mafia 2, the sensitivity is very high. Can you help me how to solve this problem ? my old logitech mouse doent have this problem. Thanks :)

@sysel777 When you say in the Windows Menu - do you mean the ROCCAT software? If you haven't installed the software go ahead and do this. Otherwise, have you got any other mouse driver software installed on the system that may be conflicting perhaps? (you mentioned a previous Logitech mouse)

@Mizuushii I contacted Roccat and they said that it sounds like a hardware defect, meaning that maybe only MY kone+ has this wheel problem. If I scroll down or up it moves abruptly, I go down, it goes up, down,down,up.
If anyone has this problem too please tell me so because these Roccat dickheads wont replace this FUCKING mouse! FUCK YOU ROCCAT!!!!!! FUCK OFF!!!!!!!

This mouse or Mionix Naos 5000?

@Kevin9488 Depends on where you are the Naos 5000 is priced just a little short of the Kone+. Really the Kone+ is in a totally different league. The Naos 5000 also has a different grip, its a lot wider than the Kone+ so it really depends on the style you prefer and hand size. With regards to features and quality the Kone+ is a clear winner!

After hearing that, I also agree with the fact that Roccat offers more features than the Mionix. Hehe, perhaps the VortezReviews website should make that clear. I was trying to compare the two but they both sounded equally good.
The only problem i'm having is the of warranty. I've read on somewhere that the Roccat customer service is poor in terms of warranty. How was your experience?

Why don't they add some of these new features to the old Kone software so we can use them also. I just bought the old Kone about 2 mths ago and I see they have not released new software/drivers for exactly a year now.
Hate it when companies stop supporting their old customers. Even my old Deathadder would have frequent firmware/driver updates 4yrs after release.

Well, I had the old version of the Kone, the normal one, and well, its not bad, but the sensor is just weird. I mean it has some kind of "aim-helping system", its not as accurate as a "raw sensor mouse" like the Intellimouse. The customization is just amazing, but seriously, if you want pure performance, the Kone isn't the way to go. Maybe I was just unlucky, but thats how it went for me..
