David Keck's "Forgetting Whose We Are" is an excellent guide to understanding Alzheimer's in a Christian perspective. His mother was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's.
If I were ever diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer's, I would hope that someone would slip something into my food or drink and let me die with some dignity.
Unable to remember who you are, control your behavior, even incontinent? No thanks!
Thank you for posting this. I visited the memory bridge website and found the clips there quite powerful and moving. I have a 90 year old grandmother that has alzheimers. The advice and insight from this clip and the others is very profound, helpful and appreciated.
