  • I just finished Forgotten Garden, the first book I've read by Kate Morton. I was completely captured, truly I couldn't stop reading until the end! Wonderful story and so brilliantly written, what a joy! I can hardly wait to read everything she has written. Thank you so much Kate!

  • I couldn't put this book down am and I loved the house at riverton.

Am just starting the distant hours. Kate you have become my favorite author please write more.

  • @1947Spanky Hi, I have just read your comment about the books and have to agree. I have just finished The Forgotten Garden and found myself frantically trying to find more pages at the end of the book, I enjoyed it so much. Have read them all now and cant wait for the fourth which is supposed to be out at the end of 2012!!!

  • Loved this book

  • This book is really good!!!

  • It would be great to watch "The forgotten Garden" in movie

  • What an excellent book. I couldn't put it down. While at work I couldn't wait to get home to pick up my book and oh how my poor dogs suffered with minimal attention during this read. I'm glad the book is finished so I can get back to normal but I'm also sad the book is finished because I loved it and wanted it to go on. I have also read the House at Riverton and very much enjoyed it but I love the Forgotten Garden. Thank you Kate!

  • Excellent - rates right up there with Pearl S. Buck, Stieg Larsson and all my other beloved writers.

Such Mastery at a young age. Thanks.

  • I discovered Kate Morton while looking at the list of Best Sellers. What a treasure to have found this awesome author. I couldn't put the book down and I too, wept. This is a very powerful piece. I also enjoyed the many jewels of wisdom sprinkled throughout, words of wisdom that I have gladly embraced. I am going to read The House At Riverton and the additional pieces as well. Thank you, Kate Morton.

  • Wundervolles Buch

  • i just finished this book with tears streaming out of my eyes! what a great read. i have been looking for a new author and i just found one. i will read all of kate mortons novels. the best part, as i lay reading the end of this book, my sleeping 2 year old daughter is laying right by my side.... just like little ivory was when eliza layed beside her.

  • Wow!'

I don't think I have ever gotten so 'lost' in a book or have ever read one so quickly! I could not put it down. I did not know the time last night and just as you said in the video....the lights were on way after they should have been.

Cannot wait to read more from your amazing imagination!

    Thank you Kate!

  • i just finished this book today it was AMAZING! i loved it and im curious about her other books.

  • I purchase the book at TJ Max late in the summer. The title caught my eye because I had somewhat forgotten my own garden due to a recent upsetting experience related to my beloved career. It took me awhile to give myself the time to read the book which I just finished an hour ago. I loved it! Thank you, Kate!

  • This novel is wonderful. What most surprised me is the structure of the book, spanning three generations, chapters which are narrations from different years; notebooks or scrapbooks which are links through many decades, between desolate and disturbing women.

  • I purchased this book at our local Good Will store and loved the story. I found myself thinking about it when busy around my home. I'll pass it on to family members then give it a permanent place on my bookshelf.

  • This was the best book I've read in a long time! It was such a good read.

  • im reading this book now and i love it a lot

A LIRE ABSOLUMENT !

  • It talking to a friend, she mentioned she pulled a book of the library shelf be fluke and decided to read it. She started to tell me how she had found this book that she could not put down for 3 days until she had finished it ... she started to tell me the story and it happened to be the exact book that my mother in law had just given me to read, I recognized the story immediately even though I was barely 2 chapters in. I just finished the book, it was absolutely fascinating and a must read!

  • I read this marvelous book last week and am reading it all over again this week! I bought it at Costco as it had a Costco recommended read sticker on it. It has been one of my favorite reads this year!!!

  • This is a great book! After I read it I told my girlfriend it was a must read. She also thought it was a great book. We both agree that this would be a great movie.

  • Fantastic Book.
