The way I see it, the guitar on Guitar Hero and Rock Band give you better co-ordination with your fingers, and the drums give you good rhythm.

They still dnt come close to playing real instruments, but they do give you fundamental skills and are heaps fun to play.

ok look im a 10 year old i finished all easy med songs on solo tour and my scores on them are all 5 star, my advice to you is to scoot the drum set closer, and i use bare foot fore pads, sometimes socks, and to make ur leg not hurt so much, you dont want to lift ur leg, keep it low, if i could make a vid i could do all kinds of stuff... Some songs i can only do on expert right now are SAY IT AIN'T SO, ENTER SANDMAN, GREENGRASS & HIGH TIDES k contact me back if you could.

i have never played this game although i want to but this doesnt make u a better drummer it might help you with coordination which is big in drumming but it doesnt make you better when you do it wrong. this song in real life is reallyy easy to play on the drums though.

On the line where the notes are on, if your suppose to play the footpedal that line will be orange and then when the line goes across the thing where you would play your notes you would press down on the footpedal, hard to explain. But that is the best I can explain it.

to keep your leg from getting tired, keep your foot on the pedal and keep it pressed all the way down then what the line comes up just lift up a little and down back again and keep it there. so basically keep the pedal pressed down the whole time then just lift up when you need it.

It's on 360, PS3, PS2, and eventually down the road, the Wii. You'll will get the best experience from the 360/ps3 version as the Ps2 version is watered down and has no online play or download content. The Wii version will most likely be a ps2 port.

I think you're having trouble with the bass pedal cause it looks like you're using just your foot instead of your leg. The downside is the pedal is such a cheap piece of shit that it'll break in half if you look at it wrong. They sell reinforcement plates on ebay though, and they rule.
