  • hi! I love your videos :) tell me please, do you roll cane all the time or stretch them to? mine canes are always deformed :/ I don't know also how to stretch a strawberry cane :D thx for answer! greetings from Poland!

  • @Sadzia88 I have a tutorial for a strawberry cane showing a technique that allows you to roll it :) it's a good idea to press the cane before rolling it

  • how do you cut them if they're baked?? :)

  • @clay2creations with a blade

  • That cane is amazing!

  • @crafty mooch

u don't want to cook it to long like if your suppose to bake it 15 min according to the package thin you will what to bake it for 5 min then u can easy cut it with a blade

U can bake it a little more after slicing if u like

  • 3:33-5:24 = ?

  • @hEyBaNaGiRl Yeah its like a big Pause(:

  • How do u slice it after u baked it???

  • I don't get it I just started polymer clay so your suppose to bake and then cut?

  • @CraftyLemonHead you can do both, but yes

  • I love this video;)

  • THIS IS AMAZING!!!!

  • im i never found such an easy tutorial on how to make a hk can thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much

  • are those fake nails

  • @Tristatia2 no :)

  • my can got squished :( every time i make a cane it gets ruined and comes out really crappy... I NEED HELP!!!

  • @ieatshyuu7888 I have a few tips for cane making on my blog. but be careful when rolling and make sure they're packed really well

  • @PeacexLovexRandomx4 do you know those canes you buy that you can use for nail art? they'r made from polymer clay as well :) you can slice them after baking

  • that is the easiest way on making a cane i have seen. And I have been doing this for a while. And I just luv ur nails. thanks for the tutorial

  • How do you roll it out without it looking squished :( I've tried 3 times already !

  • @endlessscreams I have a few tips on cane making on my blog. you need to make sure you've packed the cane extremely well so the picture won't get distorted

  • Where do you get the icing? And the clay?

  • @Lyw1234567890 icing is solid clay mixed with liquid clay. I buy from local craft stores, supermarkets and online

  • i love the way you do this cane! thank you so much for sharing, xoxo^^

  • Don't think you'll ever run out of those hello kitties, haha.

  • these are the best hello kitty canes i have everr seen((:

  • OH MY GOD!!! I am in love with this! You are officially the most amazing polymer clay people ever!!! AHHH! I have watched all of your videos at least 10 times. :)

  • @SugarCharmShop do u have to use the bow

  • @camrynroo you don't have to make the bow

  • I don't like Hello Kitty but this is so cute!!! =-

  • @SugarCharmShop where'd u get the icing u used on the donuts

  • @MsSkelly99 solid clay mixed with liquid clay :)

  • could i use the doughnuts on my acrilic nail designs? and how long do u bake them for? ty x

  • @misspinkglitter19 I bake everything for 10-20 minutes.

    and canes for 5 minutes.

I don't usually recommend using bigger clay things for nail art unless it's on fake nails that you can just pop off, only because acrylic for nails is a lot easier to remove :)

  • @SugarCharmShop thanks:)

  • Comment removed

  • Do you slice after or before baking? (:

  • @CupkakesAndUnicorns this one, after

  • @SugarCharmShop Kay, thanks :D

  • wait...i don't get it. it looked really big when you were cutting it. so you rolled it until it was really small? then you cut it?!?! please answer. btw its sooo cute! thats for the tutorial.

  • @GabbiSoCrafty no :)

  • Donuts squihsy ?

  • WOW!! so cute :D I was looking for this!! Thank you!

  • @SugarCharmShop oh and it's actually Rlly good how it turned out, it just that u can't c the face cuz I didn't cut it rite so u can't c it

  • @bbrocks1039 if ur gonna use silicone bake the donut first cuz I heard that u shouldn't bake silicone cuz I think it's toxic if u bake it

  • Omg amazing ! I love hello kitty

  • I lv ur canes tee hee lol this is so awsome

  • hi i was wondering how long and at what temp you bake the canes

  • @2zoey07 temp as on the clay packages. 5 minutes

  • Omg thanks you i have been looking for this!

  • can you use silicone for the icing of the donut????

  • @bbrocks1039 you can try :) I never use silicone

  • @vntm1130 I'm preparing for a fair in Denmark so I'm not selling online at the moment

  • what do you mean polymer clay icing?

  • @YoungArtistx3 solid clay + liquid clay

  • Etsy I meant not easy

  • I don't have an easy and I might get one. So I was wondering would you mind if some people used your tutorials then sold what they made?

  • @littlemisstootsieit's up to you if you think it's something you want to do, or if you want to make originals. Personally for a shop I think it's better to have your own "designs"

  • @SugarCharmShop thank you because i was unsure. im probably not getting a shop anytime soon but if i do its good to know.

  • does the clay shrink or something? Because when you were making hello kitty it looked a whole lot bigger :P

  • @CandyGrl1423 when you roll it into a cane the inside picture decreases in size

  • @vntm1130 craft stores, supermarkets and online, what do you mean with stay like that?

  • Where do you buy your clay & the acrylic paint?

  • @2013Elly Craft stores, supermarkets and online

  • Quick Question: What surface do you make your creations on as to have as little dust/tiny fibers/hairs sticking to it as possible?? My house is especially bad for this as I have dogs and kittens. lol.

  • @uselessid90 glass :) I clean it before I sit down to make anything. take a piece of white clay and run it over the entire surface. it picks up all dirt

  • how do u use it as candy? O.0

  • @itslikethat7484 cut out slices. the same way I did with my fruit candies

  • @SugarCharmShop o, i thought u were saying it was edible............lol oh haha

  • @sugarCharmShop hehe thx ^^ thx so much for this tut :) it rlly helped cuz ive been looking for this for... ive been looking for this XD

  • Well mine didnt turn out too bad it's just that the whiskers are a bit smudged and u can't see the face but I'll try again since I know wat I need to work on

  • @lilcraftateer you have the right attitude :) if it's not good enough just try again ^^

  • Aww mine didn't turn out too well :( the only thing that worked out is the bow part

  • Oh lol XD hehe my mistake XD

  • @SugarCharmShop yeah hehe ^.^ and I would rather this so I can roll it out :)

  • @lilcraftateer I know, that's why I said you can do as in my strawberry cane video ;) That was rolled as well

  • Lol I didn't even try it yet but I'll try it later XD

  • Favouritedd <33

  • OMG finally!!! A hello kitty cane!!!! Oh thx soooosooosooosoo muchhh! I can't tell u how happyyyyy i ammmm weeeeeeeee!!!!! And I didn't kno this wuz ur other channel :P but anyways thx sosososooooo much for this tut!!!! Thx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)) P.S. -smart idea for putting the background so u can roll it ;)

  • @lilcraftateer it's funny how there's always some who hasn't seen that I have 2 channels ^^'' hehe. you can also do as in my strawberry cane video if you want no background

  • I am trying to do it but my cane is really really rrealllllyyyy bad! it took me like 5 hours to do it (because i suck at it) and now im rolling it but it is really bad...its squishing all together! AHHHH! what a waste of clay! Im not saying your idea was bad...i did somithing wrong...i just cant explain it. hopefully next time ill nail it!

  • @Twinkypie777 The hello kitty cane isn't the best cane to begin with. I'd suggest doing fruit canes or something similar first :) with the hello kitty you first need to focus on getting the shape right all the way thorugh, then you need to focus on packing it super tightly, and then focus on pressing and rolling without ruining it

  • HI!! ThNx OS mUCH iVE BEen Looking for this 4 Months! ahahah thnx And heyy does this really need the backround like kan i just skip the backround step And just roll it without the backround Please Reply ASAP THnX!!!

  • @MSPOTATOEHEAD1 check out my strawberry cane video if you want to make one without a background

  • AWESOME! INCREDIBLY AMAZING! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!

  • dosnt the colors smudge shoudnt u skeeze it then rool?

  • @Poylmerclaygirl I press itlightly for a little while but roll most of the time. the colors can't smudge but if you don't pack it well enough the inside image will get ruined

  • That was so cool

  • your HK cane is absolutely amazinggggg...you have so much patience!!With my luck..probably will not come out right you are absolutely REDICULOUSLY talented!!!!

  • I keep burning my canes, or undercooking them. The package says 230 degrees for 30 minutes, but they get all brittle. I saw you posted that you bake yours for 5 minutes, but then they're all crumbly. What am I doing wrong?

  • @courtnishful Oh, and I'm using fimo soft for the most part, with fimo classic white, but they all end up crumbling into dust when I try to slice them! I tried making the citrus canes and the boiled sweets canes, but still no luck. :/

  • @courtnishful When I bake mine for 5 minutes they're flexible like the ones you can buy :/ normally I'd suggest conditioning your clay really well, but if you've made canes they should be conditioned just by working with them. I'm just wondering, is the cane itself crumbly before slicing it? I know if you use a blade that's not sharp enough it can make it crumble a bit

  • that was very awesome video about hello kitty i like that of hello kitty rocks!!!

  • sooo cute!!!! by far the best hello kitty tutorial yet

  • Wow your very creative nice job

  • instead of makin the hello kitty that big could u down size it?

  • @klime9087 yes

  • I think you have enough hello kitties to last you the rest of your life! haha :)

  • @plumpkinpatch definitely :D but I need a couple of more with other colors

  • i figured it out, it was my laptop sorry :)

  • i'm supposed 2 b izzypikachu27 but for some reason now i can't get into my youtube. is there a solution for this google/youtube connections thing that is causing problems????????

  • @pikagirl227 I don't have problems on any of my 2 google/youtube accounts

  • Aww.....cutest HELLO KITTY CANE ever made ^ ^

  • @emiyoochun Thank you so, so much ^^

  • thanx :)

  • the only cane that i've succeeded in making it so far are egg canes. which is just a simple white strips of clay wrap around a yellow snake:(

  • @HanYongMi I'm sure you'll be able to make the citru cane as well then :) just take your time when making canes, don't rush. you can also put them in the fridge while working on them to harden the clay, makes the cutting easier ^^

  • was the white icing for the donuts white clay mixed with liquid sculpey?

  • @izzypikachu27 mixed with liquid fimo but same thing :)

  • how long do you bake it for?

  • @FluffMachien 5 minutes

  • this is amazing! i love it :D i definately want to try this but i was wondering, is there any way i can make my own polymer clay at home?

  • @almostfamous795 you can't make your own polymer clay

  • ITS HELLO KITTY EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Zoeyuluv xD an invasion

  • @SugarCharmShop Yea there's so many. An army.

  • How can I roll it without messing it up? After I roll it, it gets twisted! Please answer me! This is the only reason I can not do those things myself...

  • @pamperush packing it really well is super important. if you go to my blog I made a post with a couple of tips for cane making back when I did the fruit candy tutorial

  • @SugarCharmShop Thank you so much that was very helpful! You made me want to make one now but I have to study hhh....

    You are amazing! Tak ;)

  • @pamperush hehe good luck with the studying ^^

  • i'm wondering, you ''background'' haves texture, you know? do you see the texture on the clay? =o

  • @amysshizzle you mean the work surface? it doesn't :) I'm working on a glass plate

  • omg, you are soooo talented !!

  • @amysshizzle Thanks a bunch!!

  • Det der er SERIØST imponerende,

  • @XXXReikouoXXX Tak =) jeg kunne ikke lade være med at lave et eller andet med hello kitty ^^'

  • omg! u are awesome!

  • @DiorChristian08 Thank you!! ^^

  • wow. awesome job on the Hello Kitty cane!! =]

  • @tomboyz151 Thanks a lot :)

  • That is so cute!

    I have a stupid question...lol.

The roll was rather big in the beginning....but you ended up having very small canes. So when you roll it, it just gets smaller and the design (in this case the face of kitty) doesn't change at all? Or do you have to be very careful when rolling it out?

  • @macherielle if you've made the image and the packing well enough the image won't change/only change a little. if you mess up on the figure or especially when packing the cane, the inside will look .. bad ^^ so taking your time when preparing the cane is important. also, if you just begin rolling a cane right after finishing the image it might mess up as well. I think I wrote down a couple of tips for making canes on my blog back when I did the fruit candy canes

  • @SugarCharmShop Thank you so much Tanja for the very informative reply. Makes perfect sense that the image needs to be created precisely otherwise it would be messed up.

  • I mean, i know the clay can be baked, but it's doesn't retract like this

  • how this big hello kitty became so small and keeping the details ? is this so kind of baking clay ?

  • @Sakuems when you roll it into a cane the image inside becomes smaller :) I have some other cane tutorials that are a bit more simple if that helps

  • @craftsterkiara Not at the moment. I will be selling slices at some point, but right now I'm not selling anything online :) making changes to my site since I decided to remove all charms from it

  • how did it become so small? just by rolling it out?

  • @SweetRainSpirit I first press it for a while to reduce the size a little. then rolling :)

  • @SweetRainSpirit I first press it for a while to reduce the size a little. then rolling :)

  • What is the icing made of?

  • @nailsbydesign2 liquid clay + solid clay + pastels

  • @SugarCharmShop Okay, thank you.

  • OMG! So cute! ^_^

  • @nailsbydesign2 Thank you so much ^^

  • you are so amazing and complex in your caning! i HONESTLY think you are the most talented person here on youtube. yoou deserve ALL of your fans! xoxo thanks for all these AMAZING videos!<3

  • @maddyswim2199 I think making canes is one of the most rewarding things you can do :) when you make a good looking cane you won't just have 1 or 2 but a TON of slices to work with ^^

Thank you so, so much for the kind words! <3

  • I don't make polymer clay things, but although I love watching your videos :*:*:*

  • @BaramidzeT Thanks so much (:

  • What kind of clay do you use for the canes???

  • @MistyAprilsArt I always use fimo and cernit. that's the only brands I have

  • @SugarCharmShop :D Thanks I was just wondering if sculpey was the same thing :3 I've never made a cane before ^^

  • @MistyAprilsArt all polymer clay brands should work for this :) but I don't know much about sculpey, some says sculpey premo is one of the best clays and sculpey lll is one of the worst, but don't know if that's true ^^''

  • @SugarCharmShop :D Thanks so much for the help :D

  • it's sliceable after it's baked? yay for polymer tutorials! (:

  • @SparklingFalls yes it is. you can also slice canes before baking but for these I chose to bake them first.

  • @SugarCharmShop ohh thank you :D

  • AHA I CAN'T EVEN DRAW HELLO KITTY XD you are so awesome.

  • @fruitcandy52 ;D I'm glad you like the video :D

  • the hello kitties came out amazing :D
