what kind of ram is it? ddr2? i have the same laptop and currently has 1 gb of ram, im planning to upgrade it to 2Gb, 1GB on each slot. is that possible and does it work properly? Please reply. Thanks, it will greatly help... :D

@kronos734 yea u can upgrade it to 2gb easily. an presario c700 can support 4gb of ram.

it has ddr2. get a DOLGIX DDR2. they are cheap and faster.

HEY good music, i have the same computer and want to upgrade the RAM, good video and don't care for the battery, if you get an electric shock it could be the same like some C Batteries together, don't worry ;)

@megueleto i think its ddr 1 but its better if you open your laptop and see what kind of ram is it and you can add only 2 memory in this laptop

@Johnherlihy1 i think its better to buy two 2 gb ram chips because in the future maybe the 4 gb chips broken and you have to bye other one and lost money but i you install 2 chips you will save money . and i dont think there is 4 gb chips for this old laptop

@POWERWJ1 i had this problem, only on windows vista, if you can possibly upgrade to windows 7 then your wi-fi should work with no problems :)
