for you that dont know: his athletic trainer took him t the dressing room and reached into this guys neck to pinch his artery to stop the bleeding. he then had 300 stitches and was back playing hockey in the play offs a week later. years after this (this happened in 1989) he suffered from alcoholism, OCD and suffered traumatic nightmares of the accident. In 2002, he shot himself in the chin with a rifle and refused treatment. he luckily survived hes now the goaltendin coach of atlanta thrashers
