Thank you for all your videos, they are awesome and I'm going to try to learn this song because it is amazing!!

  • Rythm on this song and picking it on a higher speed is quite hard actually. Got any more tips on that? I can grab the cords + do the fingerpicking blindfolded now, but can't get the rythm up to speed.

  • Happy Belated Birthday, Justin.... to you & those amazing hands :))

  • justin, you should hook us up some lyrics for this tune. Post them on either website? I look forward to learning from katies window since I am dying to learn that percussive fingerstyle technique.. Great music.

  • the melody sounds more like first day of my life by bright eyes, but nonetheless a good song by justin

  • What happened to your SNAKE RING Justin?

  • Did the lyric or the melody come first?

  • NICE.. very dust in the wind feel to it.. I'm getting your album on itunes!!

  • must be the travis picking and similar chord progression. both are very nice IMO.

  • I love that you teach us to play your music! Plus you offer a fifteen minute Q & A to your Fans! I think that is great. Keep it up Justin!

  • Hey Justin still and always the best getting better and better..

    thanks so much.. ,-)

  • How come this video is allowed to be 30mins long?

  • because he has a directors account your video still has to be under i think 100 mb but it can be an infinite length of time

  • please sing in your own dialect! i love it!

  • Darn Justin, that's a really good song! Thanks for the tutorial on it aswell, that's surely going to help me with some fingerpicking, finally a fun song to practice it on!

  • I think, not only is it great that Justin posted his song for free for people to listen to, but what's even more amazing is the fact that he actually gives a lesson on this song.

Now, how many artists do that?

    Thank you, Justin

  • Great song Justin, hope you'll come to Sweden some day. :)

ur a star dude thanks for giving us your time

  • Thanks for all the kind comments. I really appreciate it!

I'm honored to count so many of you as virtual students and friends :)

  • I owe 2 years of guitar playing to you :-). I tried to learn on my own and gave up , then i saw your easy guitar songs lesson and four of five lessons later i was hooked :-).

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but is this song about a guy being in love with a person who's mute (verbally challenged) or is "if only you could say those words to me" a metaphor for something else?

    Thanks for everything :-)

    Rohan

I'm surely going to learn it! :)

  • Justin: I adore the song. Where can I get the rest of the book ?? Cheers/ -Pia

  • Hmm. Reminds me a bit of Mark Kozelek in places. Really nice.

  • I'm proud of having you, Justin as my guitar teacher, though youre my e-teacher and we've never met in person, I know, that everything I have learnt and will learn I owe you. I even introduced you to my sister (how silly! Hahaha). She came by to me and I asked her if she wanted to meet my guitar teacher, then I opened your side, ran one of your video lessons and said Say Hi to Justin ;)

  • Justin you are an amazing guitarist, beautiful song, i'm going to buy the album. thank you for all the lessons.

  • Hey - thanks everybody - really appreciate the kind words and good vibes. :)

The TV interview this morning is for Five News, but I have no idea when they will run the story...

  • 28min @@ your longest vid ever...

  • Hey Justine, I know this may be an awkward question and maybe even to personal, but I was wondering how you came up with the page 99 and incorparated a book into this song. It's interesting to try and dwell into the mind of how the lyrics were made. To me anyway.

    -Serg

  • @chainy10 Page 99 is about an actuall page of the book "Captain Corelli's Mandolin". That's what inspired him as he told us in his weekly livestream.

  • really enjoyed that justin. everybody buy his album he's a great guy. I know I just know him from his guitar lesson but I can tell by the way he conducts business he's a great guy. at the least a fair business man.

  • I wish I had a good guitar which at least stayed in tune =\

It's a pain trying to play and your guitar getting out of tune constantly and not sounding at all like the song. God damn intonation haha.

  • the guitar starts to slow down when getting out of tune as you play it more

  • I wish that was the case lol. I have cheap classical guitars that aren't made well. Like the Lucero Classical guitar from Guitar Center, gets out of tune easily. I do have a good electrical, but these songs are made for acoustics..

  • You might look into getting it setup by a shop, unless it's in incredibly bad shape.

  • Great lesson as usual, Justin.

However.....I'm waiting on the lesson for "From Katie's Window."

  • im sorry but I'm checking your page Justin and I can't seem to find the tabs for this song on there.

  • Read the description. I guess there isn't a directory from the main page of your site?

  • Nice song, I'm gonna have to buy your cd

  • sounds like dust in the wind.

  • The song is beautiful Justin and the lesson along with tab and lyrics for it is simply awesome. Of course I've pre ordered you CD and I look forward to watching a nice guy succeed. - The iTunes link didn't work for me but a quick search in the iTunes store of 'Justin Sandercoe' brought the Pre-Order option right up.

  • great song, great lesson, thanks

  • Kick Ass!!

  • Such a beautiful song, it is amazing! I'm so glad I got your album :D my other faves are 'from katies window', 'imperfect' and 'I know?'

  • I wish I had some kind of device I could steal your talent with hahaha..... =|

  • absolutely gorgeous! Love it so much! I will be buying your cd. Thanks so much for giving so unselfishly to us and helping teach us! You are the only guitar teacher I have and I really appreciate what you do. Thanks again.

  • YOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Justin is back! ;)

  • Really nice track man...I'll be learning this at some point, but I'm only on stage 7 of the beginners course just now! As soon as I get a new job (bloody recession..) you'll be getting a tasty donation from me! I've also recommended you to a lot of friends...best on the web by a country mile.

  • Nice song man cheers!
