Its true that the students of IITs are really the brilliant one.They are capable of clearing any competition.The reason why the research in IITs is almost zero is entirely because of the faculty.All professors of IITs are interested in, is Consultancy.They put the students only in the projects they are getting consultancy for.I and many faced the same situation when most of the professors refused to guide us during our project because they were not free from there consultancy work.

As a IIT student i want say... my professor ( research guide) worked in NASA ames research center and he is much qualified compared to many other professors from recognized university at other counties. there are many guys in india who didnt get seat in iit will go abroad for further studies and have jealousy over iit students. Mr choudhari may be one of them. The reson we have less publication in IIT may be lack of good PhD students.

@tukaramorama10 yea these ppl are blinded by the western education system where students dont fail..its not in the system to fail students and so these are bragging about it....I am damn confident students who studied in India when go abroad feel the education damn easy...

ALL Btek students from IIT wants to go abroad and do PhD there. Also there are many administrative problems here like stipend and housing facility for phd students.
