@Letsjusb I have seen three types of rice flours in the supermarkets - 1) very fine - used for appam, idiyappam. 2)one that is little coarse and is roasted - used for makini fine puttu. 3) very coarse - I don't know what it is used for(SORRY). I haven't made anything with it. Rice powder means rice flour used for making puttu and it is the second type.

can you please clarify what the rice powder means? is it the rice flour(that is fine) or is it raw rice that is ground coarse?
