I think the real problem is at the punishment end. I also know alot of police - one of my best family friends - his father was the commissioner - I have friends and clients and family ranging from QCs to Judgz and MPs. I have had coffee with a number of them and the problem is the weak justice system. Ther is no real punishment. The jails are 5 star Hotels and even when they do go inside - its a very short while.
