    Dear Priyantha,

Thanks for your comment. I am not sure about Neil Warnakulasooriya but I know Rookantha did a cover version sometime ago. I like the way Devar sings and the meaning of it.

    Dear Tharu,

'Weera mala' is a small flower that blooms in Weera gaha. Remember during our school days we used to have palu, weera, madam :)

It sounds amazing why he chose 'Weera' mala.

    Thanks for your comment.

    Thanks for your comment Vasantha.

  • Dear Vidhura,

This is an old S D Burman's song "Dheere Se Jaana Bagiyan Mein" which was re-sung with a lot of gusto by Kishore for S D Burman's music in "Chuppa Rustom (1973)...

Nice song and rhymes with the original ...

    Thanks

    Shuaib Cassim

  • @ShuaibCassim

    Dear Shuaib,

Ita amazing to hear this old ones are all inter connected. I have not an idea about the Hindi song. According to Tissa Abeysekara's book this was released in the 1930s. So both might have been consecutively released. Thanks for sending the Hindi version.

    Regards

    Vidhura
