I do love Raydio....I have all their vinyl records...Real funky Stuff Indeed .....JUSTwordering..Do we have any chance to bring all these masters back in business again....we miss you guys...do your best to come back and teach new generartions !!! you´re the real thing
Say what you want "A Woman Needs Love" was there best album they ever did. There's not one bad track on this whole album. My personal song has to be "Old Pro"...
This is soooo damn good man keep it coming. I think I'm going to write a screen play about life back in the day. Just remember you heard from me. So if it ever does become a reality remember I'm the one who wrote it. This is all making me all warm and tingly inside. Truely inspiration no joke. Think I'll begin writing this screenplay as soon as possible before someone else gets the same idea.
Ray Parker was on fire when this came out, as an artist and producer. Think of the classics that he wrote and produced after this: Cheryl Lynn "Shake it up tonight", and New Edition "Mr. Telephone Man" to name a couple. He started to fizzle with that Ghostbusters garbage, but it was a Gold record nevertheless
Incredibile!
E dire che avevo detto ai miei amici che andavo a Montreux per ascoltare lui e no Koll and the Gang e Earth Wind and Fire perché già li avevo visti...
not really. he played all the instruments on all the records and kept them on retainer for tours.....if u go back he was never the lead singer...he felt arnett was better...as they picked momentum it became Ray Parker and Raydio..
check out the 3 quarter of a 180 ring around this pic that exposes the fact that..........it's a very old LP that dates way back to the very year this album was a hit and also released on arista records 8-track and cassettes. i wonder how much its worth today now that it has all that old funk on it. LOL
Oh, MAn!!---This was when Music was Music!!!--Rock on RAYDIO!!--Thanks for posting!!--Brings back memories of my childhood listening to this on Vinyl!!
this sounds nothing like that disco bullshit that chic used to do, this is hardcore r and b listen to that hardcore kickin ass bass line play the hell out of that bass ray!

I love this album. There's not even 1 bad song on it. It's very rare when you have an album like that without having to skip a song...

@FireitupBedford You damn right about that especially with today's crappy ass music.
