when i use any of these tools, it does it for every side of the cube (for example if i want to extrude the top, it extrudes every side equally), how do i get it to do it for just one of the sides

You know what would be helpful, if you actually showed us.. how to select vertex, edges, polys without using the fucking buttons for each shit... is there a way to do this in C4D?? Or do I have to spend half of my life clicking around aaaah O.o. How do you select using the rectangle selection.. Also manipulation, local, global.. etc.

ok dude... you told us how to use them and what they do... u never told us how to get to them... a bit of advice... dont use hotkeys in a tutorial unless you are going to tell them to us... kinda kills the point of the tutorial if we dont know how to get to the effects

@SZSilent I'm just gonna say this, if your asking to make a map/char then your not ready at all to make it.

You have to use many different elements and techniques. It can also take up to a year to make one. least, maybe.. MAYBE.. 3 months (And that's developers that more than one person works on it, and they've been doing it for years). You should learn how to make easier things then get really good at making those, then you should combine everything you've learned/made to make the map.

@Snakeyboy95 The death machine was fairly easy to create. Like a said in the video a lot of modeling is just collaborating a bunch of items together. The death machine was a lot of tubes, lol. I might make one how to do the death machine though, I don't really like getting too specific on tutorials though, I like telling you guys how to do the stuff, and then you do it on your own. You know? :P

@CinemaFourDeeTuts Yeh i know what you mean mate, but if, for example, you did the death machine, we could learn and adapt that to what we like. You could show us how to model a robot or something for starters, just for us people who are just starting out :)
