this sort of seems smart arse and clever and it is a good impersonation of John Cleese but it's pretty easy to just say let's have a shot at everythign on Monty Python in a list really, not hard to come up with at all and alot of the lines were irrelevant to Python cos they were out of Fawlty Towers, still being a Python fan it was funny, wonder what John Cleese would make of it bieng the father of taking the piss out of establishment himselg, ironic this sketch is taking the piss out of him

I think the joke is on those who think it is a tribute..... That sketch epitomizes everything that was so stupid about monty python.... they just parodied it...making fun of what python did..in bad light if you did not notice.

As much as monty python did some good stuff.... most of it was absolute rubbish that made no sense what so ever and went no where.

@UltimaPowers You know that the Chaser actually take a lot of Python ideas and modernise them. in a way lots of the Python stuff has made it into the Chaser style. Take the times where Hansen rings up the ABC (" what a waste of tax payers money"). It is a bit like the letters that are sent in Python. In a way some aspects of the chasers are very similar to monte python.
