@TeGustaTraga thats cool...First of all I would'nt compare both devices, because one of them is a controller and one of them is a MPC =) the mpc 2500 costs 1250 € the MPK 25 costs 250 €, thats like comparing a Mercedes A-Class to a Mercedes S-Class xD...If you want to sample a lot of music then the mpc is the best device, if you want to use instruments and some samples then get the mpk....As I said, you can't really compare this devices =)

@NotSouGood hey, no it takes only about 5-10 minutes and there are some tuts on youtube...just search for videos like "mpk 49 pad upgrade" and you find a tutorial...It's not difficult but you lose your warranty. I also did the upgrade because now it's far easier to work with the mpk =)

@PineHills518 you are right, but there's a trick I've seen on youtube that I also used for my pads! You have to stick some tape under the pads then the contact is much better and you can hit the pads allmost like an IPHONE lol. First the pads where a lil bit annoying but now after this trick they are awesome! I can recommend products from Akai because there are no other products in this price range, with such superior quality =) A lot of producers use Akai like Kanye West and Mr-Bangladesh...

@PineHills518 there are different softwares: there is FL STUDIO, it's a very nice software with a very good structure...it's easy to use, but there come only a few sounds with the software...for drums you need to download soundkits by searching them on google..for good instruments you need to get some vst-plugins..

then there's Reason what I use...It's a great software with 1000+ sounds where you can get some refills, only contra --> You can't use VST-Plugins!!!

@PineHills518 then there are softwares like cubase, sonar and logic...there are also not a lot of sounds but you can use VST-Plugins, record vocals or instruments directly and mix and master everything! Logic is only availiable for MAC, but It's very great, especially when you rewire it with Reason!! That means all the audio outputs from Reason go straight into Logic and you can use VST-Plugins too! The very best software is Pro Tools! A lot of artist use this software for recording and mixing!

@FettiVision Thx man, but thats YouTubes fault! Every of my Video has synchron audio when i upload them, but since YouTube has some new players, a lot of videos have no synchron audio. If you try watch the videos in 720p and you skip the video a lil bit, you'll see, that after some time the audio will be synchron. Thats a lil bit strange and i hope YouTube will fix this problem soon...

Reason doesn't have a built-in surface control for the mpk 25, i used the preset for the mpk 49. Reason didn't detect my akai mpk25, i had to select the mpk 49 manually, but that's no problem. Everything works fine!
