Perfect parody of Saturday Night and Sunday Morning - 'Sir Norbert Smith; A Life" is surely the most underrated and unseen piece of TV comedy. Can't understand why it was never released on DVD. Very glad I recorded it on VHS at the time.
UTTER GENIUS!!! Its 90% Saturday night sunday morning and 10% Kes. Two brilliant films to begin with. The whole norbert smith spoof is a work of genius (though he was running out of ideas by the time he got to the Carry On and Mandella sketches). But even Dali painted a duff picture here and there! This is the pinnacle of Harrys comedy carreer and puts him right up there with Laurel and Hardy and Tommy Cooper at their very best. MAGIC. Cheers for posting :-)
Whens that baby gunna grow up n get a proper job..............ahahahahhahahahahhahahhahalolololol kiakdjfgnskldjgnsdkfjgndkfjvn fnmbskdj;jgaldnvg fkng;kl too funny
I remember nearly drowning once whilst trying to surf with my two mates. After surviving the hellish experience my mates followed me to the shallow and in an attempt to cheer me up he recited "aye, you go outside and fly your bloody whippet!" I then proceeded to laugh sea water down my nose. A memory I shall take to the grave!
This, is probably the best ever piece of british Comedy ever!
