  • Why don't you all shut the fuck up and listen to the music, This movie was based on Christianity! I'm a Christian, If your not then just listen to the music and stop arguing!

  • Amazing!!!

  • playing this song while playing fallout amazing !!!

  • whatever the message of the film the soundtrack evokes you with such emotion it makes you feel creeped out yet good at the same time. Its amazing beyond compare. Your thoughts of all you've done in the past come up and you not sure why. this is what music is supposed to do

  • This is one my my favorite movies. It's gritty but it's tasteful and kicks ass. Definitely a movie every Christian should see, especially all the fuddy duddies who don't like swearing an' whatnot.

  • I love this music, film, and post apocalips :D and Fallout !

  • @PS3gameplays

    Me too!! :)

    Plus from Poland ;)

  • I downloaded this song off itunes, it makes everything I do while listening to it, fucking epic ass. lol

  • Yay God!

  • I hate and love this movie, but i can't stop thinking about it

  • THIS IS THE BOST BEUTIFUL SONG IN THE WORLD

  • This is a good song to add to a yoga or meditative playlist

  • Now some people know all sorts of stuff about music. They know stuff about pitch and modes and keys and instruments, and so they can hear things that maybe other people don’t. They hear subtlety and nuance in the song that other people might miss. They appreciate things others might miss, but it’s also possible to be so caught up in the technical aspects in the song that you miss the simple, pure, enjoyment of the song - Rob Bell

  • oh my gosh! this is epic!!!!

  • best part 5:35. min - 6.35 min.

  • awesone soundtrack

  • Holy crap this was a great movie, any other good movies like this that I should watch?

  • @carreraGT92 hy bro ! you should watch this : "The Shawshank Redemption", "Gloomy Sunday" , "Schindler's List", "The Green Mille","Butterfly effect","Remember me "

  • @carreraGT92 Yeah Training Day. lol

  • C'mon now, It's time everyone woke up. Religion was just a means of getting control, back when there was no law and order, with nothing to fear (god) people would have behaved much like the biker gangs in the film. Now for whatever reason, my guess being that everyone liked the idea of there being some kind of existance after death, religion has survived & is pretty much the soul cause of most wars recently. It's time everyone in the world got together had a few spliffs & chilled the fuck out.

  • @adam1112 Not the most intelligent way I've heard that said, but in the end you're pretty much right.

  • Whether or not you believe in a higher power, whether you disagree with someone else's religion, whether or not you are fine with whatever people choose to believe, that does not stop you from being a good human being.

This world is not merely a planet; it is a home. If the newer generation is to succeed in this war-torn and ravaged world, we must all agree to work together.

We must all agree to survive.

  • @IndorilTheGreat we dont own this planet, we lease it

  • press like if the tuba sound gave you goosebumps!!!!!

  • listen to this while high.....holy shit

  • (NOW IM LISTENING LAY YOUR HAND ON ME AGAIN.....YOU WONT GE IT BACK).....THERE IS JUST NO TELLING SOME PEOPLE.........LET THIS ONE GO..........

  • Pure art. The film and the soundtrack, particularly this track have become a permanent fixture in my life. Genius.

  • Fantastic music, fantastic performances by Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman.

  • awesome movie ! Muzica te cutremura !

  • Goose bumps.

Could listen to this all day.

  • superb movie, superb soundtrack especially 'panoramic', superb gary oldman, but nothing for week souls...

  • this is my favorite movie.

  • And for the most part in the Bible, it tells you that Jesus came to this earth to abolish religion. Not to make it take over all of us.

  • that awkword moment when you should be looking up the newest rap country rock etc. and instead you find yourself stuck listening to this and your friends looked at your history haha WINNING!!!!!!

  • @debonization You mean the awkward moment when you get respect from for listening to decent music?

  • I may not believe in god or religion... but this movie has been and will prob be one of the best movies i have ever seen... it is not right to question someone else's beliefs about religion or god... in the end time will show... the only way to actually know is to be seconds from death... and in the event of my death... and i have been showed there is a higher power... then i will be gratefully in debt to him.......

  • "I've had it with you! You're hopeless, you religion scholars, you Pharisees! Frauds! Your lives are roadblocks to God's kingdom. You refuse to enter, and won't let anyone else in either. You're hopeless, you religion scholars and Pharisees! Frauds! You go halfway around the world to make a convert, but once you get him you make him into a replica of yourselves, double-damned." (Matthew 23:13-15) Don't be Christian, be a follower of Christ and what his word says...Religion < Jesus

  • This is why religious extremists are making people to hate christians, muslims and any other beliefs. Not the religious folks, but the extremists are our enemies.

  • Best movie evar

  • My name is Aaron Harley-Bishop, I am human, our soul are gods, and we are eternal. We are the souls flying over the face of waters. Forever onward towards the horizons of true beginnings. Toward the end of a new beginning. My name is life, for I am the offspring of our life. Today is my birthday...for every day...I am born...free. Today is our birthday...for we are free, as how we have always been :). Our name is God...we are free, as it always will be. Life.

  • @deathtothegoths Well happy birthday!

  • @EncyclopedicHobo And Happy Birthday to you random youtuber!

  • I trust in the end......we will be alright :)

  • I see no god as a single entity, but a collective of humanities...soul, every inch and every depth of our soul...

  • hehe...but i have no idea where to start :).....but i still feel like i need to

  • Or atleast to one person, change something in this world...my world, some ones world...for the better....

  • I feel the need to spread knowledge, fear, love, hate, inspiration, life to others today :)

  • Four in the morning, he he...didnt think this would be the first thing i would do with my saturday.

  • The bible here represents the idealism of religion, not religion itself. Even if there is no God, and Jesus Christ was nothing but a man, the book can still help people become better human beings. If you fear God, hate people for not fearing God, worship some and discriminate others, you are missing the point of it all. Be a good human being for the sake of making lives better. This is what we were meant to understand. People kill over religion. Isn't that against what religion stands for?

  • @toraguruu Good for goodness sake.

  • @toraguruu "against what religion stands for"? Which religion? Because very nearly all religions and religious books "stand" for all sorts of killing over religion.

  • @shuttervox But why kill others when you can convert them over to your religion? It's pointless

  • @videomane360 Ask the gods, I guess, it being their idea and all. Alternatively, if you consider all gods may be fiction, it seems convenient that an invented god would sanction behavior that benefits the self-interest of the inventors. Someone else on a piece of land you want? "Convert or die" seems effective. You ask "why kill when you can convert" as if the doctrines religions demand embracing are not bitterly distasteful and absurd to the non-believer. Most peaceful converting efforts fail.

  • @shuttervox How is it a failure? Wouldnt you want to have the largest religion than a small, feared one?

  • @videomane360 I mean failure as in only a small percentage of people are going to convert to your religion if the only tool you use is verbal presentation and debate. Big, successful religions are such because the indoctrination of children/massive coercive societal pressure to conform or be ostracized (at best) or killed (at worst). There is a reason the most violent religion (Islam) is also the largest. Truly peaceful, non fear-mongering, non manipulative religions always remain small.

  • @shuttervox Then why is Christianity, one of the most peaceful of religions, one of the largest religions? That proves you can be peaceful and be fairly large. But nevertheless, we all have our own opinions. So I will not wrong yours as I hope you wont wrong mine.

  • @shuttervox No, religion stands for some sort of human epiphany that makes them closer to the Gods. Closer to the Gods means something other than it did the thousands of years ago these religions were created. People are always doing things to "please" the Gods, essentially. Instead of doing it for the Gods, do it for yourself.

I find it odd that you chose to dispute a technicality instead of taking in what I had to say.

  • @toraguruu i think people use religion as an excuse for war

  • @toraguruu

I disagree. Religion stands for a lot of things. The desert religions have never been about peace, generally speaking. Some interpretations result in peaceful worship, and that is certainly a good thing, and we shouldn't group those people together with the warmongers and the bigots!

However, the Bible should not be used to guide people. Let a five-year-old write a short story about ethics, and that story would most likely be a better guideline for people to follow.

  • @EquinoxOfTheGods nicely put my friend! hahaha

  • @EquinoxOfTheGods it depends on whether you use the old or new testament. I think that the new testament has a lot of good lessons in it.

  • @toraguruu wow changed the way i look at religion

  • @toraguruu I love tis, it's how I feel about religion.

  • @toraguruu I know, but just the whole idea that people need to believe in an invisible man (the most powerful being in the whole universe) who lives in the sky that will pat you on the back and reward you with immortality if your a "good" person. That whole thinking is just kind of well....Vain, arrogant, self righteous, and in brutal honesty just plain fucked up.That God does favor a certain group of people over others. It just sounds a little fascist and dehumanizing if you ask me.

  • @MrThewhiteindian Exactly, which is why you should do it for yourself and others, not for God.

  • Nostalgia attack, feels awesome

  • so sick nuff said.......

  • 02:40

  • This music makes me jizz involuntarily.

  • This song sends shivers down my spine...SOO Beautiful. And SUCH an amazing movie experience.

  • one of the very best films I have seen...

  • hypotheical question..... if you were geting a massage would this music be relaxing? i love it and think so....but would you?

  • Love this, it's purely magical especially when the cello and violin play a chord and when they play in unison at about 2:45 ish.

  • One of the best movies I have ever seen!

  • superbe film et magnifique soundtrack

  • This track uses Solfeggio frequencies!

Solfeggio frequencies are specific frequencies that the brain naturally responds to in specific ways; this frequency gives the feeling of being embraced by a miracle if you meditate with it. Look up "528 Hz - Miracle" on here.

    Quite a memorable soundtrack!

  • @ SmileyFaceOfRom...I couldn't have expressed anything better than the way you have expressed "God"...the tragic thing is...people are too caught up in what they are induced into to think for themselves...what they ought to do and what they ought to believe in.

  • Epic Movie.

  • @smithy2306.. ur not interrupting..

actually the old testament was about law and not about love and grace...if u find anything like that on the new testament i wont say anything else...

new testament is about the love and grace of God sending out his son to die for u and me,is about free will, u choose what to do and pay the price for that... and is not about killing people who dont believe or love God.. i dont mean to disrespect anyone u can believe whatever u want. but for me I love God&Jesus.

  • This will be the song imma gonna listen to when the nuclear war arrives

  • Why is it that whenever something on youtube even mentions religion SOMEONE has to debate about it. Enjoy the music and shut the hell up. Please.

  • @CelestialAgony829 THANK YOU! I am super religious but why does every YouTube video have to be a religious argument!

  • I can jizz to this.

  • fuck sopa

    fuck sopa

  • @aegismu the bible does NOT say that... i have read it and never found this...Jesus say that whoever comes to Him He will never cast out...christians and non christians... the bible also says that God wants all men to be saved..so u guys that think that God is like someone really mean just throwing people in hell im sorry but youre wrong...our own actions throw us there. God gave us free will...its just like deciding going to hell or heaven... God doesnt decide that,u do..

  • @katykel100 don't mean to interrupt the argument but in Deuteronomy 13 God says that if we find a town where people are worshipping other Gods then we must burn the town down with all the people in it. His son seems alright, but God sounds like an asshole to me!

  • @kazardz the bible says in Romans 1:20 states that the evidence for the existence of God is so overwhelming and clear that an individual has no excuse for not believing in God. God have been present evry single day in my life.the important thing is that i believe He is right here and He does exist it doesnt matter what people say when i have the bible to confirm and support my belief...

  • God is random post about god on youtube.

  • Am I the only one who feel so Free when listen to this?! This gets my heart !

  • Muy Buen Sountrack

  • Pure awesomeness

  • The Best Movie Soundtrack I've ever heard in my life... for sure...

    Love It.

  • @HwkCw it`s really what you say !:)

  • Inspiring.

  • dios es dios,y el que quiera creer en el que no se averguence

  • Am I the only one that thinks this movie is like fallout 3?

  • @KroneKoolKrew you are not the only one.even stronger the shooting in Carnegie,s town Eli use uses a shootgun, its exact the same sound like in fallout3

also furtherin the movie: carnegie,s men use a bazooka in a battle in front of this wooden white house, the bazooka (sound the same also like in fallout 3)

  • @KroneKoolKrew Probably not..

  • Some of these comments illustrate why I believe that the human experiment is a failure.

    Peace.

  • We know nothing to be true... any moment a discovery could be made that disproves every "fact" and "Law" of Nature. Religion provides a belief that lasts through the ages, whereas everything else dies out.

  • and this is my favorite movie :))!

  • God is whatever you feel him to be.

-If you feel that God is a bearded dude, go ahead.

-If you feel that God is a force that binds and penetrates all living things, go ahead.

-If you feel that God is a damn llama, go ahead.

God is an ideal, not an absolute. God is whatever inspires you to be a kinder, gentler, and more giving and loving creature.

Like this if you think people in the world need to put religion aside and embrace each other as a race and as brothers and sisters of planet Earth.

  • @SmileyFaceOfRom Sounds good and all, unfortunately its not reality. =(

  • @SmileyFaceOfRom Wow. That truely touched me.

  • @SmileyFaceOfRom God is an ideology. It is the idea that there is something that sets our paths in stone and watches over us. Religion on the other hand is a set of ideals that are promoted and enforced by the God ideology. In a civilised society, God can be taken out of the equasion as most of the ideals are second nature and embraced freely without fear.

Religion and God were tools to enforce certyain rules upon society. They are no longer needed in a civilised world.

  • @SmileyFaceOfRom I liked your comment until the "like this if..". Seriously, no matter how good you think your idea is, if it is good enough to be liked people will like it by themselves. END.

  • @SmileyFaceOfRom beautiful

  • @SmileyFaceOfRom I think you need to watch the movie again...

  • @SmileyFaceOfRom God is whatever you feel him to be, or an ideal?

  • @SmileyFaceOfRom what if i feel god doesn't exist ?

  • @therealplease We're sorry for you then. We hope you'll discover faith :)

  • @SmileyFaceOfRom amen, life is too short for hate.

  • @SmileyFaceOfRom 1. this would definitely be an improvement over what exists currently. To realize that we all are just common people in this world, we are neighbours in the journey of life. God as an ideal that influences and motivates people to do good, and be happy is also very uplifting and positive.

But being religious myself, i think there is a higher level of understand than this. I do not discount that what you have described however is an improvement for a lot of people and a

  • @Hpencer 2. good first step. But i know that God is a man and his attributes and many more things about God, heaven and his plan and our savior Jesus Christ. I believe in absolute truth. A lot of people in different religions and beliefs i think feel that "God ideal" in what they worship. simply the belief in a higher power that can

  • @Hpencer love, guide and is mindful of the world and the fates of those in it is comforting and make you feel secure and purposeful. I belief in absolute truth, and if one honestly seeks the knowledge that i know and many others that are friends and family know, you will too.

until then, i would and will respect any belief of higher power that is inspiring and a positive experience to that person and how they influence the world.

  • Go Atticus Ross!

  • The "Book of Eli"Best soundtrack

  • and Eli WAS blind, that's what the revealing of the braille Bible was for! They wouldn't just throw that in there for no good reason...

  • @imPuLse1x2 I never really could figure that out. I Just though that he could read it. Because In the whole movie he acts as i can see. and of couse to fucked with that guy-

  • The movie is not strictly about religion; in this case they only convey a message of the indominable human spirit. Atticus Ross and the producers and directors, writers, etc. used Christianity as a vessel to tell this story. Quit bickering.

  • well its one of the most realistic movies i have seen out there, cose the outcome of the ending will be exactly the same, maybe a little worse!

  • @briloheim I respectfully disagree. I also realize that I am no more likely to convince you of my opinion than you are to convince me of yours. So I will say something which is meaningful to me and that is valid no matter what you believe - Appreciate everything you can find to appreciate, and you will have a great and fulfilled life.

  • Eli is blind.

  • @Bluesylences No he isn't.

  • This is such an underrated movie and I don't know why.

  • @Scottyl35 Because it deals with a religion (christianity) and people are afraid to approach the topic beacause it's a sensitive topic.

  • @gonzotopia1 Definitely. When I first saw the movie I though "The director of this movie is either Hispanic or African American" because due to the post-modernist bullshit circulating in contemporary media most people choose to play pseudo-intellectuals and either pretend they don't believe in God or keep their views to themselves due to the religious diversity of the Western world.

  • @Scottyl35 Because it's about faith and post modernist pseudo-intellectuals like to believe miracles don't happen.

  • I believe in the possibility of god. I don't believe in religion.

I don't do good things because some unproven entity or a book requires me to do so.

I do good because if I make someone else feel better then they'll usually act better towards others. In this way we make a better world for everyone. No god or bible required.

  • @FuManBoobs Believing the the possibility of God is good, but it won't get you anywhere positive if you die that way. You realize Bible stories have been proven to be true, right? You don't truly know what doing "good" is without God either. The path to God is very narrow, and you my friend, are on a wide path. If you really want to find God, he will lead you to him.

  • @LxE100 SOME bible stories are true, yes. That does not mean all are. Also, the whole 'believe in god or go to hell when you die' thing is just a way of inducing fear in disbelievers so that they will convert more easily. If you do not believe in anything, that is (aparently) your god-given choice and therefore you may not make it to heaven, but you sure won't make it to hell as you have done nothing bad by not believing.

And no I do not believe in God or religion.

  • @JoshStobart well said,i am a non beliver too,but the statement you made, had a lot of sense in it!

  • @JoshStobart You're agreeing that some Bible stories have been proven true? Good. Well, can I ask you this? Can you tell me a Bible story that isn't true, and prove this? I'm sure you couldn't. Nope, Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven are all real. We are here on earth to labor for God, so whoever makes it to heaven, truly deserves it and the same thing with hell. By not believing God, you are rejecting him. It isn't what many of us did that bought us to hell, it's what we didn't do. Remember that.

  • @LxE100 Wow, thats a load of absolute rubbish right there. Let me systematically eradicate all of your points yeah? Many bible stories such as moses parting the sea are false. The jews crossing the sea happened. The parting didn't. Next point... oh yes! The so often used 'Believe in god or you'll burn in hell' story. Funny that... sounds like 'obey me or die' which makes god an extortionist. People are enslaved by religion, not freed by it. Remember that.

  • @JoshStobart You failed to systematically eradicate all of my points. You were there with Moses when he parted the sea with a staff? No, I don't believe you were. Egyptian chariots were found at the bottom of the Red Sea in odd positions, just to let you know. No, you've misused the word extortionist. Believe in God or burn in hell is actually very logical. If you don't have faith, how will God know you deserve heaven? This is rejection. I'm sorry you feel otherwise.

  • @LxE100 Alright then... chariots at the bottom of the ocean. Cool story. How about the supposed story of noahs ark? where are the traces of this worldwide flood? where did all the water go? where is the ship that would have had to be like 10 miles long to hold 2 of every creature?

    /watch?v=ln64DYflGT4 <- for more info

  • @JoshStobart It is a miraculous story. Way to just put that fact aside like nothing. To answer your questions, watch this clip.

    watch?v=aCeSJw3Qzls&feature=channel_video_title

  • God is Good, full of love and mercy. Jesus came for the sinners, he ate with sinners like a doctor would for the sick. Jesus DIED FOR us while we were sinners, & ROSE from the DEAD.

God loves & wants to forgive us. We can know God daily and every minute, a relationship with him. he is a being. God says: "I AM".

  • Religions are very bad....organized religion killed Jesus by controlling the mass and turning against him........the bible is for individual use read it question it and the world would be great

  • this makes me enjoy my life all the more

  • whether we agree with Gods ways or not is not an issue. It is his world that he allows us to share and we don't get to make up the rules as we go. I by no means force my beleifs and faith on others. In the end, we all answer for ourselves. Every man is entitled to his opinion, I just happen to feel that the lord is there for me. I love the thought of eli walking by faith. If you have heaven waiting for you, every situation is a win/win.

  • @briloheim An ETERNITY in Hell is INFINITE punishment. Because one can not commit an INFINITE amount of bad deeds, I don't think anyone deserves to go to Hell. I have no problem with sending a serious criminal to prison for a long time. I'd even support the death penalty for serious criminals, if done humanly and within the law.

  • @carthage167 Hey man. This has been a long debate in history past with theologians, philosophers, teachers, atheists and religious people. It all comes down to what Jesus said. He was either telling the truth or lying. HE said there IS a Hell and described it vividly sometimes. The point I was making is that we don't grasp how vile sin is. And for God to be loving He MUST also be completely and perfectly just. Administering justice where it demands. You must look to what Jesus did about this...

  • He provided a way that God can be loving and issue Justice at the same time for YOUR (and my) situation. This is the point of Christ dying on the cross. God's wrath for you (personally) was poured out on Christ. This is the beauty of the cross. Is that it is an... exchange, if you will. What we deserve, Christ stepped in and "took the bullet" - but far worse. God forsook (turned away) from His Son on the cross. God saw the sins we've committed placed on Jesus and crushed Him. So He was the...

  • wrath satisfying sacrifice for all of what we have done and will ever do. So that If we believe and follow what Jesus said, He will not let us go to hell. But Jesus said REPENT and BELIEVE. (not yelling, just emphasising) Repent means turn away from self to Christ. (literally change your mind) Believing means to literally put into practice what Jesus said, evidencing true saving faith. ...Ask Him! He isn't far. He knows your heart anyway. Tell Him everything, and ask Him to show you the Truth.

  • does anyone else knows where i can listen to sounds like this?

  • @StefanKukhuve search ambient or dark ambient or stuff like that

  • When I was a kid and teen, my greatest fear was going to Hell, I followed the Bible strictly. I always lived in fear. Now in my 20s, I don't believe in Hell, I think it was invented to control people out of fear. Do you believe anyone deserves to go to Hell for eternity? I do not. Eternity is a long time. If I would not send my worst enemies to Hell, and God Loves everyone, Would God send anyone to Hell? I do think someone/something created the Life on Earth and I don't mind calling it God.

  • @carthage167 Hey bro.- A thief comes into your house at night, shoots you, and disables you. Kills your 3 kids at gun point. Then rapes your wife in front of you, then kills her. Police come, and take him to prison. Later, at the court trial, you are there. BUT the judge, before the trial, says "...Well, hes probably sorry for what he did. And, I'm a loving judge so, just don't do it again! k? :)" then lets him go. But its okay because he's a loving judge, right? ...Jesus talked alot about Hell.

  • @briloheim What if you actually hated your wife, found out your three kids weren't yours because your wife cheated on you, and finally were able to overcome your disability with rehab and lived off a lawsuit check the rest of your life? Would the thief be sent to hell or sent to heaven and be praised by you for liberation?

  • God is the symbol of the human mind not a super human in the sky..........if people knew how to read more properly the world and religion would co-exist.......but oh well ..fuck it

  • @devildirtstraker666 Too bad it's not a very good symbol. The New York skyline or perhaps the American flag on the moon would be far more awe inspiring.

  • Can't we all just get along?

  • @giovaniprodan3 i dont think so as long as you have the dumbfuck that would rather believe the preacher and have a primitive mentality ......no

  • @devildirtstraker666 We are all in this togheter...Like in The Brothers Karamazov-We are all to blame! All of us...It's a miracle we exist!Look deep inside yourselves and find the truth. There is only one true path in life, the road that leads to all leads to one-SOAD quote:P

  • @giovaniprodan3 For that to happen, everyone must discard all beliefs and assumptions that have no fact. Everyone must realize that every man is and end in himself and that no one holds any claim on another mans life, that his body and mind and whatever he might produce, using these tools, belong solely to him.

  • Eli is skilled in VATS.

  • peace of mind has never sounded beter

  • God is the symbol for mind ....you reach God if you think ...believe me ....Religion is the contradictory of all they control the mass....read the bible to your self and question it and soon you'll understand the meaning of it.
