FreeSpace is a space simulator game made by some of the people who worked on Descent.

People kept saying this was FreeSpace and not a mod for Descent 3, but I'm saying it IS a mod, because I've played it.

Freespace Developed from Descent? If you mean that Freespace was an adaptation of the Descent engine, your wrong. Freespace and Descent share nothing except Descent is in the Title, and the same people who made Descent made Freespace. And BTW, Descent was only in the Freespace Title due to copyright laws. In Europe, it was called "Conflict: Freespace".

FS is part of the Descent franchise - though it has a totally different story line.
