  • This is so cool...Marc was and still is the legend of Cosmic Lyrics.

    Peace ♥

  • Thanks for posting this.

It brings back so many happy memories.

Some of the 6 weeks while the band were at number one TOTP showed a video instead. The band were doing a national tour and couldn't always get to London for the show.

  • TOTP was never ever ever ever live!!!! All songs were lip synced

  • forestgumpaed....they appeared in person, this is why people mis-interpretated the meaning of live,on to the song(one of many).yet another huge hit for the mighty t.rex.they had a tremendous following.great song at the time, but seems dated now.

  • Looks like a young Lemmy on Bass!

  • marc looks so young n gorgeous!

  • Superb stuff.

  • IIRC March 25th 1971. The other T.Rex performance was from the 11th of March 1971 - that one is shown from the ZDF archive - this one is from the BBC archive and but it kept Lynn Anderson from number one at this period.

  • Mickey looks a little uncomfortable on the drum kit, oh well at least he's not pretending to play the bass on this one.

  • Live? :)

  • YEP LIVE AT TOP OF THE POPS

  • yeah, right ... look at the footage. they are short on a few instruments for this to actually be live.

  • @BrekkaBoys wellll..i Don't see the string section ;) thanks for sharing!

  • @Sparne91 U can tell wen Marcs not live he was the worlds worst mimer lol x
