  • Take it Clarence!!!

  • The intro is identical to Jungleland and it spoofs 3 classics, not one :)

    Gotta love it!

  • It's some bizarre mix of Jungleland, Thunder Road, and Born to Run, and it's awesome.

  • funny!!!!

  • I had this on tape! I think I'm going to go put it on my itunes...

  • This is like a combination of jungleland and born to run

  • Never seen a better impersonation of the Boss. Then again, who could ever do the boss but a leather jacket puppet?

  • Does anyone know the chords to this?

  • thank's

  • Nice! Very nice!

No one can sing like Chrissy Cerf.

  • Okay, I know this isn't really Springsteen, but I'm sure if they had asked him, he would have done it. Can you imagine Bruce performing this as a joke at one of his concerts? Guaranteed crowd pleaser!

  • @Ragachan That would be great. :D

  • i hear its the 'thing' to be.

  • Plenty of us adders out here on the Jersey Shore.

  • I love the green cop's reaction when he sees "Bruce".

  • Which Sesame Street episode featured this immediately after the Sesame Street Theme instead of going to a street scene? I believe it was the first airing of the song.

  • OMG i remember watching this when i was little :)

  • Sounds like Jungleland!

  • begining piano is

  • love it when the cops start dancing

  • Ditto that!! I'm laughing so hard right now!!

  • This so funny. Wonder if Bruce had to give permission somehow.

  • I guess.. When they did Letter B with the Beetles, I guess they had to pay a fine for not asking the Beatles.. Around 50 dollars.. -.-

  • @Markutang

Yeah...CTW almost got sued for that one...geesh!

  • Probably not - it's not musically similar enough to Born to Run to be considered copyright infringement. The arrangement's very similar, but the chords and melody are very different.

  • And even if it is.. who the hells gonna sue sesame street?

  • the funny thing is, it actually sounds like bruce, or a song he could potentially have written

  • wonder why springsteen was never on the show?

  • I remember this from when I was a kid. Maybe it's the beer, but what a great clip. Better than anyone who tries to copy the Boss.

  • @markmcd333

Chris Cerf is voicing the Bruce puppet :)

  • Wow, listen to Galdys go! What a solo. :)

  • I meant Gladys. :)

  • Gladys??

This is Bruce Springseen. What are you on about??

  • Comment removed

  • She was not called Gladys. She was Clarice. Which she is here.

  • Do you mean Clarence? Who is actually a "he"

  • In this it's Clarice and it's a she. So no, do not ruin it.

  • @XxIAmRedeemedxX

omggggggggggggggggggg!!!!! remember when we did this in the streets?!!! xD!!!!!!!!!!

  • @XDeathNoteMasterX

    xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • It sounds more like Peter Criss than Bruce.

  • 2:24 Best. love the blue round head cop dancing, and Clarence's hair thrash dance.

  • lol i don't know why but i couldn't stop laughing at the trash can part

  • It's weird watching this....this clip is from 79....I was born in 79...This clip is the same age as I am....find something the same for youself/selves. You'll know what I am talking about.

    Cheers.

  • I love the Jungleland intro

  • That's not a bad version of that classic Springsteen song. I've heard musicians trash it but this is fairly decent...and quite hilarious.

  • Who are you? The curator from the Metropolitan Museum of Trash? "Not a bad lamp post..."

  • omg i love that so much

  • Hehe, I've always considered Springsteen to be somewhat of a muppet, so this song works out great.

  • Awesome! Love the song ;)
