I remember this game. It was such a classic, I used to play this game for hours trying to top my high scores and getting addicted to the music. Hint: you could beat the boss in 1 loop if you make a huge starter loop and go under the boss to finish it. (only way i knew how to get a 2.0 bonus!)

I never realized how directional this game is- it's really a side- scroller. I thought I was flying everywhere in a 3D environment.

it kind of is mate: there is a fair bit of directional change in flight but dont forget when you run out of time and fall on foot, then it is a completley 3d environment that seemingly goes on forever!

A simply brilliant game i id say either this or Shenmue is my favourite.

you can go d/l a saturn emulator...

but it probably won't run at full speed like the actual system

@Knextlegend Depends on the system, I have a recent computer, not top of the line in graphics cards, but processor is better then before, and when I played SFIII on it, I almost thought the game was on crack with how fast it ran. I did try this game as well and runs MUCH better then it has for the 04 computers I tried it on. Still, does depend on what you play the emulator on, as it won't function like the cartridge emulators.

this is one of the best platformers ever made its a shame it debuted on the short-lived saturn, nevertheless it was a beautiful game with great specs and is the best game on the saturn i wish the ps2 import made it over to the states

What is your goal in a Nights level?

Do you have to collect a certain amount of chips and then make it back to the starting point in time, or what?

You have to collect 20 chips and unlock the different colored items then take them back to the starting point within the time limit. :)

I both the Saturn and Wii Nights games do they explain to you your goal in some way so that you know the required amount of chips you must collect?

i think i like this better then the wii nights, this game just seems so much smoother and faster. plus the music to spring valley is just so classic! i love this game. plus i like collecting chips instead of chasing after birds with keys... :P

I never had a Sega Saturn, so I've only ever played the Wii one, but based on what I've seen of the old one, I have to agree.

OMG a nightmare awakes. I Bought this game pleyed it throu within 1 or 2 hours and hated sega for making this i never understood why people were praising nights. Good grafik yeah but story wise and fun it didn`T had much to give.

Yeah, I got the 2nd one. So far it's living up to the hype for me. It kept the gameplay which I like but it's still too early for me to give it a scale rating. The vids are coming! :)
