i mean, think about it..the whole point of them not speaking to each other until they hit the beach was part of the notion that you form relationships strictly WITHIN the game. Otherwise, the whole point of the game is shot from the outset; they knew each other, knew the game, and knew how the others played the game. just a set up for disaster. not a pure game at all.
this season was dramatic to watch at times. but as a pure Survivor game, it was an absolute mess. people who already know each other, and have seen each other play, and have also survived the game before, so know what to expect...ruins the whole premise of the game.
I remember Jeff Probst saying, after this season, what a mistake it was to have returning players. It was awful and didn't work well. He really hated this season at the time. Too bad he didn't stick with his moment of clarity.
Just seeing these people again made me so happy. I didn't like Jerri in season two, but I realize that she wasn't that bad. Annoying, but not that bad. Also...Rupert! Rudy! Richard! Tom! Rob and Rob! Alicia! Ethan! Colby! Jerri! This is gonna be a great season.
Rob Cesternino got screwed this season. Tis the season where the best players went out first. They all ganged up on him cause they knew how dangerous he was and because of it he has not been given another chance to show everyone how to really play Survivor. A shame really. Smart move by Mariano to take him out though, gotta give credit where credit is due.

It's too bad the idea of the hidden immunity idol wasn't introduced until Exile Island. I really would have liked to see somwe more people from Pearl Islands... maybe Savage...

My question is why they didn't figure out there would be 3 tribes because they should look at how many are on their tribe to start with, 6, how many people did they expect, 12 total.
It would be cool if after heroes vs villians they did a season with all 20 winners. However if they won multiple seasons or couldn't compete because of health reasons they could use whoever came in second.

People not accepting or not getting invitations here certainly hurt this cast big time
Jenna L, Amber, Shii Ann, Alicia, Tom, Rob M & Kathy all sucked or were irrelevant in their first season & didn't deserve another shot
Brian, Sandra, Colleen, Christy, Elizabeth, Heidi & Paschal all should've accepted invites or gotten them. That would've been a much better mix of entertainment & game play to add instead. The undeserving people on the cast that made it to the merge makes me hate this season

The is the BEST intro yet!!!! Geez, wondering what the camp sites are going to be like - you have to get there with manned & armed chopers & a military marine escort.... Well, guess ya gotta pull out all the stops - they've all aready been there, done that, so this Survivor needs to be ball-bustin x5....

@thegov08 Sandra was asked to compete, but declined as she was recovering fron the health issues caused from the previous season...Rob did deserve to be there, because he was a better player than Vecepia...the only reason she outlasted him was because she kissed John's ass, and Rob didn't

just on paper,it seems like mogo mogo will be a powerhouse.they got hatch,colby and lex,the big dogs of the first 3 season,and three very strong women as well
saboga got the two oldest players,dont think is really fair.and chapera and just misfits lol,everyone except the two robs are just there to fill in the last spots because better players declined lol

It would be cool if after heroes vs villians they did a season with all 20 winners. However if they won multiple seasons or couldn't compete because of health reasons they could use whoever came in second.

@diehard914 Mine too bro. I enjoy watching the strategists in this game. I can't stand the passive "fly under the radar" approach like some of the previous winners, i.e. Veecepia & Natalie. I would have loved to have seen Cesternino in the heroes / villains season.

Thought that rumour about Nelah was on Heroes vs Villians.Thought it was told that rumour was rabbish and Nelah wasit even in 50 people they chose for seaon 20.
Think she was asked for all starts then she just turned it down and Kathy replace her.

They didn't pick Fairplay at that time because he was the most hated player of all time. They did invite Sandra but she turned down the offer herself.
BUT (this might be spoiler so don't read anymore if you don't want to know further...)
Fairplay will be in S16: Fans vs Favorites
and Sandra in S20: Heroes vs Villains.
