I personally never played the arcade version at any arcade before but I had the Japanese Mega Drive version for a very long time now. That version is so easy compared to this. Impressive run :)

It seems a strange version to me. In Italy Truxton had only 3 themes (4 including the boss theme) and the spawning of the bonus was different... for example the power-ups continued to appear even if reached the maximum fire power... in the level of the "comets" (as we Italians called it) apeared a lot of bombs intead of red guns... and so on...
