  • Represent that shit guuuurrrrrl! Naija to the fullest...no stoppin us now! haha!

  • I love the message that she's talking about and what her music is about. But all these superficial comments about how pretty she looks just shows the kind of world we live in. Anyway, Nneke is an amazing artist and will continue to support her and let others know about her music!!!

  • She's so pretty, and her music is amazing :)

  • i love you!@@

  • Can people talk about something other than her looks? This is what is wrong with the world today. She has a very powerful message thats shes trying to get out. A message that a lot of people are completely unaware of, yet NEED to hear. Yet as she gains popularity people only care for her face. Is she mixed? etc etc. WHO CARES?! She grew up in Nigeria and her message is about the plight of Africa.

If you want to listen to an artist for her looks I'm sure you can find a Beyonce video to watch...

  • @missfreeyourmind Thank you, I was kinda mad that people keep talking about her looks like thats all she had to offer and how her hair looks crazy.

  • i watched this video just to look at her. Damn she's beautiful, but i liked the content of what she was saying too.

  • one more thing she has beautiful big brown eyes!

  • she looks alot like angelina jolie like if angelina was mixedl (black) she would look like this!

  • shes actually a really pretty womanl with really pretty features beautiful bone structure nice lips and all natural( which is a plus 10) beautiful comlplexion and pretty hair even though sometimes she has it crazy looking but she is really attractive and she has a very creative mind and very shy and i knew she was a mixed nigerian she looks mix!

  • @envymeforgood half german/Hamburg (mother) and half Nigerian (father)- grown up in Nigeria.

  • @aMMt3129 Her mother is full blooded (German) her farther is full blooded (Nigerian) she was born in Germany but moved to Africa because of the criticizes about her being biracial and her interracial parents so she moved to Africa where she adopted two Nigerian parents to raise her who where both full blooded Nigerians she says it in her document where she talks about her life i just seen it she is half German half Nigerian plus the song half cast she say what she is and talk about her self!

  • @envymeforgood I read a book of her brother Antol Egbuna "Oyibo"and there is written, that they born in Nigeria and their mother left the father, went back to Germany and left the children with the father. When the brother became 18 both of them came back to Germany, but the mother still didnt want to take care of them. She send Nneka back to Nigeria and Antaol went to his uncle. But there it didn´t work, he got a girlfriend and moved together with her. He is still living in Hamburg.

  • Nneka is tremendous artist, I especially like her response to the comparison question...A beautiful black woman who's speaking on relevant issues, DAMN I'm in love...But honestly, her music is uplifting...

  • she has an eccentric, out of the ordinary personality that i like.

  • Great interview Nick Huff :) - Nneka is the real deal and speaks, sings and executes music of substance far beyond the majority of artists out there. She is a true activist. And the best thing is that her music is cookin' baby!

    american politics

    nnekas awesum

  • i love her voice and accent. too cute.

  • she is very educated. and very cute.

  • Western Africa sometimes I think thats all it was meant for , to be exploited, all people do is come into Africa to exploit its natural resources, but I really wish the Africans would get their act together, all of their politcal figures are corrupt

  • tubemusicdownload com to get this song

  • NO asshole BUY the music how is she going to eat ?

  • @checkabreak LOL

  • she is deep, and has given me a reason to ponder. how many artists sing about the times, and make us reflect? quite rare indeed.

  • Love her! Showcase her more!

  • havent heard of this woman,or seen of this woman, and shes nothin like lauryn hill lol

  • she can get it wit dat accent lol

  • yeah real talk her and K'naan WOULD BE HEAVY

  • love her accent

  • I've been rockin her music lately and I dig her stuff. I'm glad to see she's getting exposure.

  • NNeka is the truth... i thought i was the only one who heard of her she got a bright furture. And HEartbeat is one of my Favorite songs ever.

  • @babydock214 maybe u should think hard about the whole intellect thing...ok now ask urself is english her first language? maybe not huh? yeah ok so its harder to convey the message because of that...maybe huh?

  • @Parish1199... Nigeria was colonized by the British ,therefore Nigeria's official language is English.. So Nneka's first language is ENGLISH,,, she just has a Nigerian accent

  • @babydcock214... To me in this interview she comes across as deep but in case you missed it in this interview ,listen to Nneka's other interviews. This girl is really deep and so is her intellect.

  • @babydock214 Of course we should get wiser as we age, but she has alot of the intellect already you make it sound like she doesn't. I feel like you want her to be able to talk smoothly like the politicians do but she doesn't because she really cares about what she's talking about and pauses to think while she talks not lie to you. Her speeches may not be rousing and charismatic and what not but Hitler's were and look were that got us.

  • @babydock214

what a daft thing to say ..u need to work on yourself

  • @babydock214 ya girl is a anthropologist...anthropologist!!! Think about it.

  • @SuperCozmos doesn't an anthropologist study cultures?

  • I'm going to have to do some research on her music. I wonder if its anything like K'Naan

  • her and k'naan need to do a track together...that would be sick

  • Damn, I thought I was the only person that knew about Nneka! Good video!

  • love it
