oh wow! i went there 8 years ago, when i was 10 years old. watching this video makes me nostalgic. aww. of course, wisteria lane wasn't there yet. haha. oh my, i wanna visit the US again.
Universal Studios Hollywood was a backlot, like Trance2Dance said. They just decided to build a themepark there, and decided to let people take a tour of the backlot where they actually film outside stuff.
i'm confused. that whole long strip was the "set" for Desperate Housewives? was all this stuff near each other? how would all that war of the worlds stuff be there? were all those smashed houses, and plane parts re-set up just for this?
DenisAndrjev you don't know crap about the studio tour. Have you even been there? You should at least know what your talking about if your giving out information.
Okay, that whole street you seen with Desperate Housewives, it's real. Inside some of the houses their are sets for the interior of the houses. About the War of the Worlds set, they built it for the movie and kept it there for the Studio Tour, they just added special effects. And it isn't even near the Desperate Housewives set. There are 360 acres on the backlot, so their are hundreds of elaborate sets. They even have thir own firestation for the backlot.
Because people are jerks. I've noticed people doing this to random videos for no reason at all. YouTube needs to actually look at the content before letting it go through witha flag.
