People who say surfing is better than skating are obviously trying to sell surfing. With skating you can design anything you want, with surfing your limited to mother nature and more often then not it's not good shape surf. Then they will say "but surfing is different", yah it's not even half as fun as skating. San Jose skatepark is 100 times better choice than Trestles on an above average day. Look up Death Of Some Salesman, then you'll understand unscrupulous salesmanship

Downgoesfrazier...I am sending a charter bus loaded with commuting barnies down your way to personally verify your account of Trestles. Be on the look out for guys wearing 4/3 full suits in the dead of Summer, webbed gloves and booties. They will be easily identified with conflicting surf team and/or logo stickers and the frequent "hoot" for a 3 FT. drop-in. I've requested they drop in on each wave as if it were their own break with little to no disregard to the lineup.

yea dont go here at all, im a local and believe me i hate it... its the only good spot from were i live... the waves are terrable too. and also there are bears in the wilderness near the main trail. DO NOT COME TO TRESTLES AT ALL

@Mopthedop9 I have skated for 14 years and done the craziest things you can imagine, broke many bones, almost lost an eye, was close to death once... But I have to admit that since I started surfing, there's absolutely no comparison. I mean that I've tried freeriding (snowboarding) and it was almost suicidal at moments; but the fun, adrenaline, fight against the elements and emotions I get from surfing are comparable to nothing. And I have tried so many extreme sports.

But surf is THE emotion

Trestles has 90 people out at the point when it's small, imagine how many if it were this big. Huge TRUTH Kelly Slater says at the last Boost Pro "have not got barreled at Trestles since 1991". You can see its crumbling a lot fast then slow. Not perfect peeler but better than all the crap elsewhere. So then why would you want more people to surf there were you supposedly are at?
