Back when WW2 games were good! This is one of the best soundtracks of any game. It makes me cry when thinking of it. Reminds me of my grandfather who served in the European and African theaters in World War 2.
@VIPGUY600 You shouldnt just salute amercians, u should salute Freedoms fighters in Denmark German Solders, Russian Soldiers, Japaneese soldiers. Everyone of those had a familly not only americans..
War is hell, so it was for my grandfather who fought against the germans in France. He told me that he would give all his medals he earned to retrieve those men he lost.
The very first shooter I played was MOH frontline so this is like an anthem for me and I was only 6 when I played it. But I still have all the headline of honors on PS2 even though I now have an xbox360 good times
not saying this theme was wasted on a video game, but its was. If it was in a ww2 movie it would have won an award. its so powerful and emotional. its sad that its slowly fading away into the past now that the ps2 is outdated. its really going to be a lost gem.
@DvineGaming we should get it in a movie. or atleast in some sort of show where people who arnt gamers can hear it. i understand that the gamers (being little kids) are our future and will carry on a memory of ww2. but it isnt the right one. It should be heard by the real ww2 vets, while they are still with us.
SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT MW3 OR BATTLEFIELD 3 AND JUST HONOR THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR US....even if it is a game, this is one bad ass and a hell of inspirational theme. But the medal of honor didnt say you were brave, it says you were lucky...Bless America, and Bless this World...(read this while listening 2 the theme, it fits and sounds hella awesome) :) <3
this music is just so...addicting. i miss when games were so historic like MOH. i actually have vanguard, EA, heroes, frontline but no airborn or MOHH 2. GOD BRING BACK WW2 GAMES!
My life's worst decision was when I sold all my games and my Playstation 2 to a video game store. I remember all the hours I spent on my WWII-games, MOH Frontline, MOH Rising Sun, MOH European Assault and Call of Duty Big Red One. And when i go back and listen to the themes and songs it give me goosebumps and I regret that I sold my games like a whore. I'm nearly crying.
@t0rp31d0 Dude i had all that games too, now my brother has them (along with my ps2) because i have a ps3 now, cant say i regret it, but i wish i could still play Ps2 games like those you mentionated before( my brother lives in another city)---I also have shity english too, jaja
@daviesonly , but I think it's fiction, because no matter if it's just a little conflict or a world war, there is always a social and economic interest or political behind it, the example you gave of Afghanistan, but they may be portraying that, but they do not expose the real U.S. interests in the Middle East, which is oil, I'm not saying they are the bad guys, I'm just telling the truth that media censorship.
I know I said something much more than you asked, I'm sorry, I like to write :)
Anyone remember when Medal of Honor and Call of Duty at least respected the facts about the time period they were working with. Now they just make up modern conflicts and destroy what these games were...
@x82ndODSTx i know right.. and for what? to please the fanboys.. everyone thinks i am dumb to prefer ww2 cods over the new ones... but why? it is my opinion... the ww2 cods were the ones i grew up with... besides, i loved the historical sounding music.. and battling in "historical" battles
@EarthboundSNES Exactly! The first game I ever played on my PC was the original Call of Duty. Then I started playing Medal of Honor and I slowly watched the series decay after MoH Airborne.
@x82ndODSTx the first ww2 game i played was call of duty 2: big red one on the gamecube.. i liked it so much that i wanted more historical war games... i went on with medal of honor (european assault, i think... was the first moh i played) the other cods (2,3,5, unfortunaly, i haven't played cod1 yet :(, moh:frontline (in my opinion, one of the best fps ever), and brothers in arms:road to hill 30, which is also an excellent game.
@x82ndODSTx i still remember when i came from school i would lock myself in my room and travel back to ww2 with these amazing games that gladly honored the veterans of "the last great war".. the modern warfare games just don't appeal to me, b/c... why do i want to play these games when there are still people out there fighting in wars these games try to recreate? when i see all these kids playing modern warfare games, i sometimes wonder if they truly know the horror of wars, it is on the news:)
This makes me think of my Grandfather when I listen to this. I remember him telling me stories when I was little about all of the stuff he did in WW2. I think he was and is a true hero. He served in North Africa, Normandy and other places, I forget what they are called. He died in 2006. He and so many others gave us what we have today, they all gave us freedom. RIP Grandpa and every other WW2 Veteran <3
I wish people could understand how much more better, how much more realistic, Medal of Honor is compared to Call of Duty. It's a damn shame people don't know the difference between a good game and a horrible game.

my grandfather was in ww2 and he watched his friends get killed in the battle of the bulge and Carenten, he was a good soldier and witnessed more hell a man can hold. on the day of his birthday his best friend got killed by a German sniper
@xenokiller128 I would like to say i feel your pain, but I can't. I would want you to tell him that he was a great man and he deserved to live, free!! We need him honoured.
@xenokiller128 Im not going to thumb this up, not because I dont like it, I just dont see how it would be right to like how his best friend died on youre grandfathers birthday, and the other stuff. But Thumbs up in my heart(:
@MinyNinja i am going to give you a green thumb just to say that your history is correct and America got provoked to join ww2 because of pearl harbor and more logical reasons. P.S i don't think olapessoal100 is from America or is not the sharpest knife in the cupboard
I can't stand all the bullshit historical debates that go on here. This is a song from a videogame. It's definetly not a public forum for your innaccurate history facts you were taught by your hack 9th grade teacher.
@olapessoal100 Sorry for the lack of respect for the horribly evil men who slaughtered hundreds of innocent people. I hate to break it to you but the Axis were the bad guys.
@olapessoal100 Congratulations you have officially made no sense. Yes but we were actually killing people who attacked us first, Hitler just jumped on the Jewish for his own person reasons. What do you mean "no respect"? You want a WWII game were Nazi's win?
@olapessoal100 Germany attacked Poland knowing it had a defensive pact with the Allies...I'd consider that a sneaky direct attack, since they already planned the invasion on France.
Right, because WW2 was like this: the evil French and British Empire declared war on the peaceful, democratic German people. They sent millions of troops to implement their vision of a disgusting, genocidal, totalitarian state.. oh wait.
@olapessoal100, The USA Joined because Japan Bombed Pearl Harbor, 3,000 Soliders KIA, that December Morning. Just because of a Oil Embargo, we joined the fight with UK, France, Russia, because of the Axis Powers, ie.. Japan, Germany, Italy! Get your History right!
@olapessoal100 War is ugly, and costly.. but that was to end to war to prove to the world.. wait.. they did that?? (dropping two bombs on Japan) to send a message.
@MinyNinja Think about it this way the axis weren't the bad guys exactly they were just following the bad guys orders remember most Nazi's would of rather blown their brains out than slaughter many innocent people but it wasn't their choice to make
@Perse32 is modern warfare really fiction? is it not just the exact type of warfare that's currently taking place in the world in places like Afghanistan?
According to the Gold Star Blimp(some lady that rants about how bad gaming is), WWII isn't real. In that case, however, I guess the 4 years my Great-Grandpa spent flying around in a bomber was for nothing.
This game is amazing, alongside Frontline... THESE were the REAL WAR VIDEOGAMES. Not like COD right now... These game had a meaning, they show you what really happened. Great story, music, characters, environement... MOH I will always remeber u. Great job EA GAMES,
everybody is making these modern combat games today! only BiA is still a ww2 game (which is actually my favourite series) but i grew up with medal of honor and call of duty as ww2 games and they were better then imo...
did you know this was the call of duty "back then" . i feel sry for the people who has given up on WW2. call of duty 1-5(exclududing #4) were the bomb. this is the reason why call of duty was born. thank you EA game. thank u for Medal of Honor!!!!!!!!
Russia still has victory parades to honor those lost in WWII or as they call it "The Great Patriotic War." Sure, Stalin was an asshole, but they sacrificed themselves for Mother Russia, and even the world. We have to honor all the vets in Russia as well or the Germans would have limitless supplies and the world would be next. Soviet Marshal Georgi Zhukov was the man behind the Victory at Berlin, we shall honor him. Ura, to those Soviet soldiers who died from those Nazi bastards.
@TheBlueMystic "how human we really are" i dont understand... we're human, no more no less... saw an old man getting shouted at by some chavs the other day...fist thing i thorght " a lot of his gereration died in combat to pave the way for this.... waste"
When I listen to this theme, i have the impression to be there, on the battlefield...

@Perse32 is modern warfare really fiction? is it not just the exact type of warfare that's currently taking place in the world in places like Afghanistan?
daviesonly 3 months ago
@Perse32
According to the Gold Star Blimp(some lady that rants about how bad gaming is), WWII isn't real. In that case, however, I guess the 4 years my Great-Grandpa spent flying around in a bomber was for nothing.

@Perse32 well yea thats why the name is MODERN WARFARE,never played cod 1? or cod 2? that was the best games of cod series.

This game is amazing, alongside Frontline... THESE were the REAL WAR VIDEOGAMES. Not like COD right now... These game had a meaning, they show you what really happened. Great story, music, characters, environement... MOH I will always remeber u. Great job EA GAMES,

There needs to be another MOH ww2 game. Just so we can have good music.
MrMWGH 5 months ago
everybody is making these modern combat games today! only BiA is still a ww2 game (which is actually my favourite series) but i grew up with medal of honor and call of duty as ww2 games and they were better then imo...
PapaNoahNo1 5 months ago
Loved this game. They need to remake all the Medal of honor's with today's graphics and psychics. That would be epic. URA
Azf12 5 months ago
did you know this was the call of duty "back then" . i feel sry for the people who has given up on WW2. call of duty 1-5(exclududing #4) were the bomb. this is the reason why call of duty was born. thank you EA game. thank u for Medal of Honor!!!!!!!!

@QuIcKScOpEr4LiFe I absolutely agree. And about MOH going back to WWII I agree with that too. Medal Of Honor 2010 was NOT a good game

Google the Christmas Truce of WW1
War isn't about who's right or wrong, merely just the people who are fighting it, and how human we really are.
