why shud he trust you, do you even have 2k9? i have 2k8 and 2k9 and the 2 are NOTHING alike. 2k9 stepped up graphics, added a ton of new animations, and took defense to another level. all animations are smooth and flawless...obviously, not the case for ANY of live's next gen games. (live 09 is the first live i havent bought in 10 years - no regrets)
